Please note that the property is in a medieval village and the property has unique historical features and amazing views, however it is positioned on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building without lift and with two flights of uneven steps, we therefore do not recommend it to people with limited mobility and elderly.

This is a fantastic refurbished apartment in the medieval centre of Dolceacqua - as previous reviews there are very many uneven steps both up to the apartment and also once you are inside so not really suitable for those with restricted mobility but the climb is definitely worth it - the views are simply amazing. Really well equipped and fitted 6 adults very easily. Right in the heart of the village surrounded by bars and restaurants but only 15 mins to the sea Ramona checked us in and was really responsive on WhatsApp during our stay We had a great few days and highly recommend

An unusual and extremely well designed and styled apartment. Up several flights of stairs but worth the climb! It had everything we needed for a week spent exploring the ancient streets of Dolceaqua and alternating between mountain pools (12 mins up the Nervia valley) and the beach (20-30 mins down the valley). Plus it was spotlessly clean on arrival, with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Excellent aircon. The roof terrace was the perfect place to relax in the evening.

We enjoyed the flat very much , access not for the faint hearted but it was adding to the charm and character of the place . Excellent position for the village life and restaurants bars etc Will be more than happy to return again The owner is responsive and quick in answering questions

The apartment is really nice and has a lot of space! Very nice, we didn't missed anything. All things were there and we were able directly to start with holiday time. The roof terrace is a highlight with a nice view on the castle. The apartment is well located but very calm in the area. So very nice to be directly in the centre of Dolceaqua but still quiet! Important to know there are some bigger stairs to reach the apartment. If you don't have leg problems, it's not a problem. Only if someone is not quite so good on foot, it may be important. Neil the host is super nice and very helpful! Thanks Neil, it was a very nice time in your apartment!!!

When we got to the property, we found that the access to the property was not as presented in the listing. No where in the property description was there an indication of how unsafe are the stairs getting to the apartment. Neither in the pictures, nor in the written description is it clear just how unsafe the access is. We fully expected the cobblestone street access as well as the steps shown in the photos on the interior of the apartment, but the full access is NOT depicted in the photos or description. We experienced steps that were uneven and extraordinarily steep, as well as multiple depth changes making the stairs difficult and unsafe to go up and down. The steps to the apartment were dark, and lights were on automatic sensors, but rather than turning on, they turned off in some areas making it difficult and unsafe to go up and down. In addition there was no handrail available for parts of the stairs up to the apartment. These conditions are unsafe for anyone going up and down stairs. As a result, we did not stay at the apartment. As noted above, the property description was not representative of the true conditions to access the apartment. We have requested a refund, and as of this writing, none has been received.

Maison superbe ! Vue magnifique Tres bien entretenue Petits gestes à l'accueil : bout de vin, de lait ... Très sympa Par contre je n'ai pas compris Une dame ne parlant que italien est venue nous accueillir et ne nous a pas aidé pour les bagages Elle a dit un phrase et est repartie Alors que c'est une vrai galère vu l'accès difficile de la maison Je pense que c'était un problème de compréhension car la maison était super bien préparée pour notre arrivée Merci pour le séjour !

Uitstekend appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt, incl. Garage. Top voor de locatie in Dolceaqua. De incheck kan beter, uitleg v keuken apparatuur, airco etc. WiFi was er niet ondanks mails naar verhuurder. Verhuurder heeft wel geantwoord maar WiFi probleem is niet opgelost. Met tieners en jong volwassen een echt gemis. Verder genoten van lokatie en het dorp Dolceaqua

Le logement est conforme au descriptif : très luxueux et spacieux. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique et le village médiéval un petit bijou ! La climatisation est très appréciable et reposante. Le parking privé clos est indispensable. Nous avons passé de belles vacances. Attention aux nombreuses marches inégales à monter (environ 60) et aux nuisances sonores de la rue (pas de double vitrage). Bonnes vacances aux prochains locataires !

Prachtige woning!! Alles super gestyled, heel erg mooi, hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Het meest complete huis wat we ooit hebben gehuurd. Aan alles was gedacht, echt alles ook in de keuken van wijn tot olijfolie! Maar topper dan top, het terras en het uitzicht! Wat een verrassing niet in woorden te vatten, gewoon zitten en kijken. Wij vonden het: living in a painting. Daarnaast ligt het huis vrijwel aan het plein met leuke restaurantjes. En on top of all kun je de auto perfect in een garage om de hoek parkeren. Hoe compleet wil het het hebben! Dus echt aan alles is gedacht, prachtig niet twijfelen DOEN!!

Wonderful holiday apartment in the centre of Dolceaqua. Only a few steps (!) and your cappuccino is being served. The location is top. The apartment itself is spotless, very clean and very spacious. Everything is new. Good beds and linen. Amazing rooftop view!!!! Keep in mind you have to climb some stairs to reach the apartment. It is not easy if you're not in a good condition. The owner is very kind, offers a lot of tip, and is easy to reach. Questions are being answered in a minute. We had a wonderful stay!!!!

Nous avons été ravi de l'appartement, encore plus beau en vrai qu'en photos. Il est très bien équipé, conforme à l'annonce. Le village est très mignon. Par contre, je n'avais pas vu sur l'annonce à quel point l'accès est difficile. En effet, il est situé dans une vieille maison de village médiéval ce qui veut dire des marches très hautes et irrégulières....On a été très surpris en arrivant et je le déconseille aux familles avec enfants en bas âge et aux personnes ayant du mal avec des escaliers difficiles. Pour les autres, allez y les yeux fermés, vous serez enchantés.
