This quaint, three-level condo with updated flooring and newly painted interiors and that has been beautifully decorated throughout and features a full kitchen with everything you need to make meal prep a breeze. When you aren't watching a favorite show or movie on the cable TV, head to the community pool to cool off! Your private, furnished deck features comfortable seating where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the pool views.
Sand Castle Condominiums offers access to two on-site community pools. Pack your beach gear because you are also just a short walk from beach access at the end of Forney Johnston Drive! Head over to the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, only a mile away, to see a wide variety of birds along the nature trails. And the Historical Fort Gaines, a circa-1820s fortress with a museum and tours led by costumed guides, is less than two miles east of this rental.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We absolutely loved this place! My husband and I stayed here with our two children and had plenty of room. The pool right behind the condo was so nice and clean! We swam in it everyday we were there. The pool closest to the beach was also super nice. We swam in that one every night after getting off the beach. There were hoses to spray the sand off! The beach access was great as well. It was just a short few min walk. The best part with the children is that it’s a gated area. Our kids rode their scooters to the beach as we walked alongside them and we didn’t have any worries. We cooked the whole time we were there and had enough pots and pans to use, which was a nice touch. There were also extra trash bags for us to use & the washer/dryer worked great too. Before coming, it was hard for me to tell if we were going to have a regular beach access. We had never been to Dauphin Island before and the pics almost looked like rocks- but it was a regular beach! It was never crowded either. Maybe an additional 4 or 5 families out at the same time as us. There was never any traffic on the island either. We got around in a breeze. The only thing that may be troubling is there are two sets of stairs- one as soon as you enter the condo and another to get up to both of the bedrooms. They’re listed in the pics, but I will say they wore me out a bit being so out of shape. Overall it was a wonderful home away from home and we would recommend staying here!!

Location and property were the best, On beach, close to two pools. Gated property let kids roam free. Walk to beach everyday!
The unit itself was ok. Lots of stairs. Dishwasher wasn’t mounted to cabinet and a crack in shower upstairs.
