It sufficed, but could use improvements.

Location was far from the city centre but close to the metro. Be careful which exit you use, one has an elevator which is helpful with luggage, the other has escalators part way, but requires stairs the last bit up. Staff were friendly and nice

The bed and pillows were awful, I felt like I was sleeping on the floor they were so hard! The hallway lights didn’t always trigger on at night so I had to use my phone flashlight. There’s no elevator, so be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs or leave it with concierge, but be warned, your bag will not be watched at all times and when concierge is closed you will need to call for someone to access your luggage. This was not a problem, but caused a bit of a scare when the door was locked, while causing stress for the times when it was unlocked and unattended with easy access. No kettle or coffee maker in the hotel room.

The location is fantastic located in a beautiful residential area,close to the subway station You can find good restaurants in the proximity. Even the hotel has its restaurant ,well perceived as I understood.The lady from reception was so nice

The ventilation in n the bathroom does not turn on. The toilet seat and cover are a slightly thin-flimsy plastic. The toilet ceiling needs a hand of painting. The shower head leaks some water. The toilet also keeps running water - perhaps they need new seals.

Compact and clean

Convenient for the metro and buses. A short walk to Porte D'Orleans and the tram Lots of bars and restaurants, a nice area, we felt very safe walking around day and night. The room and shower room were compact, but OK for our one night stay. We did not try the bar downstairs, but it looked welcoming. No air-con, but there was an efficient free standing fan.

The duvet was far too thick for summer. We had to close the window due to a loud, prolonged telephone conversation going on in a courtyard or apartment behind the hotel. There was some other noise, we expected that as it is a city hotel, but the telephone conversation was very intrusive and showed no signs of stopping at about 1am.

Clean, quiet affordable good small hotel in Paris

Le Florus was a clean, quiet affordable good small hotel in Paris. Easy short walk from Metro 4 Mairie Montrouge station. Neighborhood was safe and good at least for me. Very large supermarket quite nearby. Staff was also nice and pleasant. Upon checking in early afternoon there was door security but restaurant adjacent is same owners so had no trouble going in and asking them (had a nice lunch there by the way).

The staff was great considering the language barrier.

It was very thin walls. I hope I didn’t bother others. I hear 2 rooms frequently. The toilet was waaay to high they need a step ladder. It’s a crammed bathroom. It does work well. Clean.

The hostel is 5min walk from the subway station and the bus to reach Paris. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus the room was ready by noon.

No lift in the hostel so with baggages it is not easy.
