Highly recommended - amazing stay!

Newly renovated apartments, everything clean and tidy, rooms are spacious, so are bathrooms. The restaurant is very good, homemade breakfast was excellent, so delicious! Pool and the surroundings with sun-beds clean and comfortable. Helpful staff.

Little hidden gem for the perfect relaxing holiday.

From the moment we walked in we wished we had booked for a longer stay. A gorgeous little family run hotel in the lovely little town of Lovrecic, San Lorenzo with such helpful, friendly staff. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and modern, with a balcony overlooking the stunning pool. The breakfast was varied and it was nice to sit outside to enjoy it. Free parking was a bonus. Nearby are a few restaurants and cafes - all with wonderful service. The beach is a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend this amazing hotel.

Small village with no big hotels, so not overcrowded. There are 3 good quality restaurants in walking distance and couple of food trucks with pastry, snacks, coffee and ice cream. Clean, quiet hotel with freandly personal and a pool, big rooms and very good breakfast.

Super small hotel . Lovely location. The rooms are large and modern with spotlessly clean bathrooms . The staff are very friendly, supply lots of local information and make you feel really welcome . The breakfast is excellent and the pool area is lovely. Already looking forward to another visit next year.

Perfect stay

The hotel was well presented and in a quiet position. The rooms were large and well equipped and the bathroom was modern and spotless. It was good to have a fridge and kettle with a supply of coffee and tea. Breakfast was excellent . The manager was super helpful especially when we first arrived .

A Relaxing and Peaceful Getaway

Whether you’re with family or a romantic few days away with that special someone, Villa Badi is the perfect location! Peaceful, quiet and private, the villa is spotless and welcoming from the moment you check in. Breakfast was sumptuous and there was something for everyone. If there wasn’t something, you could ask for it and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure you were looked after. Mr Hrvoje is an outstanding ambassador for Istra as well as bring an amazing host.

I probably would have liked one extra pillow on my bed, but this is really a trivial request. Everything was first class.

Great place for relaxation and making trips around with family or friends

Nice and helpful staff. Beautiful environment. Great breakfast with large selection of food. It was not crowded at the time we stayed there so we could enjoy the pool any time of the day. The coast is really close by walk but no built beaches nearby. Umag is around 6 km, not the best choice walking there in hot weather as we did but Villa Badi had some bikes to rent as well. Lovrecica is a small village, no bars or clubs around but it is great for families. Villa Badi restaurant is nice but pricey. There is another nice restaurant, San Lorenzo, in the village with long opening hours in the summer. I really recommend fish dishes anywhere in or around the place. There are some small but good places to have a drink or eat something simple in the coastline (accepting only HRK in cash but there is a place to exchange money 20 minutes by walk).

Lack of public transportation, especially to the closest town, Umag (Taxi costs around 140 HRK one way to Umag).

Erholsame Tage abseits vom Massentourismus

Tolle ruhige Lage in einem kleine Ort, abseits vom Massentourismus. Fussläufig zum Strand, zu einer Strandbar und zu einer leckeren Pizzeria. Mit dem Auto ca. 15 min nach Umag, mit dem Fahrrad ca. 30 min. Kleiner Raum vorhanden, wo wir die Räder einsperren konnten. Unser großes Zimmer mit Küchenzeile war sehr sauber, ebenso der Pool und der ganze Bereich im und um das Hotel. Die Küche ist eher minimalistisch ausgestattet, was uns nicht störte da wir nicht vor hatten zu kochen und sie nur wegen dem Kühlschrank gebucht haben um Obst und Jause für zwischendurch einzulagern. Hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Die Auswahl ist klein, fein und abwechslungsreich. Hier findet man auf jeden Fall etwas. Herr Badi war sehr nett und stets um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Der Kaffee :) Schmeckt leider gar nicht, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau :)

Trotz einiger positiver Aspekte würde ich diese Unterkunft keinesfalls weiterempfehlen – wir kommen definitiv nicht wied

Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und gut ausgestattet (Küche mit Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Haartrockner etc.). Auch an Verbrauchsartikel wie WC-Papier, Spülmittel und Tabs wurde gedacht. Das Bad ist groß, mit komfortabler Dusche, Pflegeprodukten und ausreichend Handtüchern. Das Doppelbett ist bequem. Es gibt einen kleinen Spielplatz mit Tischtennisplatte (inkl. Schläger & Bälle), Boccia, Schaukel, Rutsche, Fußballtore, Softbogen-Schießen sowie schattige Sitzplätze mit Kissen. Die Anlage liegt ruhig – keine Dauerbeschallung, auch die Zimmer sind angenehm ruhig.

Der Kühlschrank ist – besonders für Familien, die selbst kochen – viel zu klein, und die Kühlschranktür war defekt (Tipp: Mängel unbedingt sofort melden, siehe unten!). Das Frühstück war eine große Enttäuschung, trotz der Bemühungen es abwechslungsreich zu gestalten (verschiedene Kuchen, Palatschinken süß und pikant usw.): Der Kaffee kommt aus einem Automaten und schmeckt schrecklich, selbst das Teewasser daraus schäumt noch nach mehreren Minuten. Die Butter steht ungekühlt und ist flüssig, während die Spiegeleier im Wärmebehälter kalt sind. Die angebotenen Säfte schmecken wie billige Fertigprodukte aus dem Tetrapack. Einmal waren die Brötchen ausgegangen und am letzten Tag war nicht mal mehr Nutella da - nur ein Ersatzprodukt. Unangenehm war auch die Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum – eine Kamera hängt über der nicht funktionierenden Kühltheke, und ein/e Mitarbeiterin/Mitarbeiter beobachtet mit verschränkten Armen das Geschehen – von Entspannung keine Spur. Weitere Mängel: • Der Balkon des Familienzimmers ist zu klein für 4 Personen. • Die Matratzen im Stockbett sind extrem schmal und unbequem. • Das WLAN ist sehr langsam. • Die Klimaanlage ist auf max. 23 Grad begrenzt und funktioniert nachts nicht – nicht geeignet für hitzeempfindliche Gäste. • Kein Insektenschutz an den Fenstern. Wichtig: Unbedingt alle Mängel sofort dokumentieren und melden! Wir wurden nach der Abreise beschuldigt, die Wand beschmutzt zu haben. Auch bei Schlechtwetter wird erwartet, dass man täglich das Zimmer reinigen lässt – sonst wird behauptet, man habe das Reinigungspersonal nicht hineingelassen. Beim Check-out reicht es nicht, abends alles zu erledigen – man muss sich morgens persönlich abmelden. Ein besonders enttäuschender Punkt: Unser Sohn hat sein geliebtes Kuscheltier im Zimmer vergessen. Trotz sofortiger Kontaktaufnahme kam bis heute keine Rückmeldung, und das Kuscheltier wurde uns nicht zurückgegeben!

Wir habe uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt und können Villa Badi mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Alles! Super Service, in diesem Haus wird wirklich daran gedacht, wie man seinen Gästen den Aufenthalt so unkompliziert und angenehm wie möglich machen kann (etwa Garage für Fahrräder, Wäschespinne für den Balkon, abwechslungsreiches und reichhaltiges Frühstück). Großes Zimmer mit Balkon, geräumiges Badezimmer, genug Platz für Ablage und Wäsche. Und vor allem: sehr bemühtes und freundliches Personal. Der Ort eignet sich auch sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren.

Ein für unsere Bedürfnisse ideales Hotel

Die Villa Badi liegt am Ortsrand von Lovrečica etwa 250 m vom Strand entfernt; neben dem Hotel (baulich angeschlossen) befindet sich ein Restaurant. Im Ort bzw. am Strand gibt es in Gehweite vom Hotel einige weitere gastronomische Betriebe. Unser geräumiges und gefällig modern eingerichtetes Zimmer (15, mit Balkon) liegt an der Eingangsseite, man sieht aber nicht nur auf den Parkplatz, sondern auch aufs Meer. Besonders schätzten wir die Garderobe im Vorzimmer und die großzügig vorhandenen Abstellflächen und Stauräume sowohl im Vor- und Wohn-/Schlafzimmer als auch im Bad. Was uns etwas abgegangen ist, war zumindest eine zusätzliche Steckdose beim Schreibtisch oder am Bett zum Betrieb eines Ladegerätes (Handy, Foto-Akku). Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück reichlich und vielseitig, das Restaurant sehr gut (im oberen Preislevel). Dass es so strikt vom Hotel getrennt ist, dass die Hotelrezeption (angeblich) nicht in der Lage ist, im Restaurant einen Tisch reservieren zu lassen, hat uns verwundert.

Wunderschön und jederzeit wieder.

Zimmer waren sehr sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gab zusätzlich einen Wasserkocher mit Gratis Instantkaffee. Kühlschrank, Wäscheständer und Safe sind am Zimmer vorhanden. Alles Top. Die Lage zum Strand ist hervorragend, keine 200m geradeaus hinunter zum Meer. Mehrere Badeabschnitte vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr abwechslungsreich, jeden Tag haben einzelne Speisen variiert. Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön und man hatte kalte Getränke (Wasser, Bier und Wein) und Speiseeis im Kühlschrank zur freien Verfügung, natürlich gegen moderaten Selbstkostenpreis. Die Gartenanlage sowie der Eingangsbereich war mit sehr viel Liebe angelegt und extrem schön gepflegt und lud zum verweilen ein. Kostenlose Fahrräder zum ausleihen, Tischtennistisch mit Schläger und Bällen vorhanden.

Mir fällt zur Unterkunft nichts ein.

Unser schönster Kroatienurlaub und sicher mit Wiederkehr!

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und mit großer Auswahl, alles frisch und sehr lecker. Im Wintergarten oder am Pool frühstücken war super entspannt. Der Strand war nur 200 m entfernt und sehr sauber und mit jede Menge Platz und Freiraum. Das Wasser war sowieso sehr sauber, wie immmer in Kroatien. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, das Bad ebenso und der Balkon groß und mit super Blick zum Meer und Sonnenuntergang. Was auch erwähnenswert und nicht selbstverständlich ist: das Sternerestaurant im Haus mit köstlichen Speisen!
