Everything was amazing, but I did feel slightly boiled...

Staff was simply amazing. Food from restaurant was good. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious enough, garden facing terrace was super nice and private due to plants blocking view from passing by people. You can jump in the sea from across the street. Parking in the front can get a bit crowded at certain times, but you also get a key to private parking in the back which was nice.

AC was locked to 26 degrees. That is fine during the day, but makes it really hard to fall asleep. Especially since AC fans were not really that powerful, so the room would usually be at around 28 degrees until 2am. Not saying it needs to go to 16 degrees, but being able to go down to 22-23 would make this perfect place.

Amazing location, very clean and nice room with balcony. Even though the view was on the hotel garden side it was amazing due to the nice looking garden with trail leading to back private parking. The restaurant has a view directly on the sea and it's seafood oriented. I would recommend this place for people that want to have a nice chill evening after long business meetings and for tourists.

Very nice Hotel and Restaurant

Hotel and Restaurant Zlatna Vala was very nice. My single sleeping room was a bit small but all was OK. Breakfast was very good and the the staff on site was very friendly and helpful.

Relaxation, a warm welcome, great food, spectacular seafront location.

Everything was fabulous as it has always been every time we have visited over the years, sometimes just to eat in the restaurant which serves amazing fresh fish in every season. We love the location, the friendly welcome and the attention to every detail from the whole family and look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful location

Zlatna Vala Hotel is located near Umag, in Novigrad direction, and it has direct access to a bay that is very suitable for swimming. When going into the water, one can discover sand, which is rarely seen in Croatia. The seaview room has had all the facilities for a relaxing holiday - extremely clean and with a nice scent, comfortable bed, generous storage space, walls painted in Mediterranean colours. Breakfast is diverse and of premium quality and is served in the calm and invigorating scenery of the seaview terrace. At dinner we have enjoyed very finely prepared seafood-based meals. The hotel has a carefully maintained garden, a tennis court that can be rented and bikes available for guests for free. The guest parking is in the garden and is covered, protecting the cars from the sun. Most certainly, the hotel standards are high-end. My deepest appreciation to the family managing the hotel. The North-West area of Istria is very picturesque, offering tourists everything they desire: restaurants with delicious meals, premium quality wines, towns with architecture untouched by modern trends, discreet people, amazing scenery and a crystal clear sea.

Breakfast: no buffet; because of covid? We had to order our breakfast,without menu. Cumbersome The dinner menu: beautiful description of the fish plates. But at the end: minimal choises.Which is ok, but the menu should say: catch of the day, price per kilo instead of all these famous fish names

Pleasant stay with my wife

Very good place, kind and pleasant staff and owner, staff aproach, Perfect cusine, clean Room and all hotel and surroundings hotel. You can borow bicikles and ride every where, Istria is almost flat and Perfect avalaibility by bike, cover private parking place behind the hotel or open in front of the hotel. Pleasant stay

Leider nicht zumutbar durch den störenden Lärm in der Nacht.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel mit nettem Personal und großer Sauberkeit.

Leider sind wir bereits nach einer Nacht abgereist da die ganze Nacht über ein unerträglicher Lärm von einem immer wieder anspringendem Aggregat ausging. Dies war schon eine Zumutung und lies keinen ordentlichen Schlaf zu. Auf das Problem angesprochen wurde mit Nichtwissen reagiert. Darum Abreise. Speisekarte sehr überschaubar. Hätten uns mehr Abwechslung vorgestellt.

A nyugalom tengerpartja, a béke szigete

Már másodszor nyaraltunk itt. Családi panzió, távol a városi forgalomtól. Szép, tiszta, klimatizált szobák, tengerre néző terasszal, finom reggelivel. Az étteremben ízletes vacsora, az elvárt kínálattal. Az asztalnál kóstolt helyi olíva olaj meg is vásárolható a recepción. A tengerpart konkrétan 5 méter a bejárattól. Békés, kevesek által látogatott, sziklás rész, de az öböl sekély, lassan mélyül és a víz hamar felmelegszik, az áramlatoknak kevésbé van kitéve. Este jókat lehet sétálni nyugodt helyen - aki szórakozásra vágyik, annak viszont autóba kell ülnie.

A fürdőruhák, törölközők teregetéséhez jól jönne egy szárítóállvány - mi rutinosan vittünk szárítókötelet, csipeszt. A szobafoglalásnál érdemes figyelni, és tengeri kilátást kérni, mert néhány szoba a hátsó részre, a kertre néz, ahol viszont a légkondicionáló-berendezések külső egységei vannak - az ott hangos.

Abbiamo scoperto casualmente questo hotel qualche anno fa e ci è piaciuto talmente che ci ritorniamo ogni volta che possiamo...è piccolo ma perfetto, pulitissimo e curato e ogni anno troviamo dei miglioramenti. I proprietari sono affabili ma mai invadenti, il ristorante è ottimo; noi scegliamo il trattamento di mezza pensione e la cena è sempre varia e completa.apprezziamo la presenza del frigorifero in stanza e il locale esterno dove lasciare l'attrezzatura da spiaggia.

Nakon puno godina ljetovanja u razvikanim hotelskim kompleksima, odlučili smo se za noćenje s doručkom u ovom prekrasnom hotelu, s balkonom na morskoj strani te smo se posve oduševili. Izdvojili bismo: 1) PRIVATNO PARKIRNO MJESTO Za početak, osiguran je ne samo privatan natkriveni parking nego i parkirno mjesto (jer broj mjesta odgovara broju soba) koje je besplatno i dostupno isključivo gostima hotela. 2) POLOŽAJ HOTELA Hotel je dovoljno odmaknut od glavne prometnice, a nalazi se uz plažu. Osim toga, blizu je i manja trgovina (oko 3-4 minute hoda). 3) UREDNOST I SADRŽAJI SOBE Sve se sobe nalaze na katu iznad restorana, a razlikuju se prema tome gledaju li na more ili na vrt. Naša je soba br. 4 bila morska, a s balkona se pružao predivan pogled na more i plaže. Soba je uredno namještena, sa stolom, stolcima, mini barom i klimom koja stvarno radi. Kupaonica sadrži sve što je navedeno prilikom rezervacije. 4) PLAŽE Iako smo navikli ljetovati na istarskim betoniranim plažama, sa suncobranima i ležaljkama, ove su plaže bile otkriće. Dakle, hotel se nalazi blizu niza plaža pa smo si birali gdje nam se najviše sviđa. Ulazak u more je postepen, s kamenim oblutcima, a ono što je super je što nema buke, u prirodi smo, a more je čisto i u drugom dijelu dana (što s većim hotelima baš i nije slučaj). Od hotela je moguće unajmiti dasku za surfanje, ležaljke ili druge rekvizite, uz manju doplatu. 5) HRANA U cijenu je bio uključen doručak (između 8,00 i 10,30) na terasi restorana, s pogledom na more. Kao što je za svaku sobu osiguran parking, tako je i sa stolovima. Nema nervoze oko zauzimanja mjesta, guranja ili gužve. U ponudi su topli napitci (kava, čaj, itd.), mliječni proizvodi, sokovi, nekoliko vrsta toplog kruha, razne kiflice, deserti, brojni namazi, sirevi i suhomesnati proizvodi, svježe narezano povrće, itd. Mi smo iz Slavonije pa smo bili sretni kada smo uočili pravu domaću rajčicu. :) Vidljivo je da se išlo na kvalitetu obroka i da se tu nije štedjelo.

ausgesprochen angenehmes hotel

kleines, sehr feines hotel. die mitarbeiter:innen sehr nett, freundlich und mehrsprachig. das frühstück war in ordnung, beim frühstück blick auf das meer, welches direkt vor dem hotel war. kostenloser parkplatz am hotelgrundstück oder auch direkt vor dem hotel. sehr angenehme atmosphäre. besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr sauberen und schönen zimmer. preis-leistung perfekt!

es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen außer: bei einem zimmer richtung garten hört man 24 stunden ein ziemlich lautes geräusch - ich vermute ein kühlaggregat.
