a quiet and peaceful place to stay

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day. The sheets are ironed and smell very nice. hotel owner Elsa helped us with everything. Located in a small village close to a historical area, this hostel is ideal for those looking for a quiet holiday with its clean air and calmness. Very close drive to Kavala, beaches and Drama.

We had a great visit and wished we could have stayed longer !

The rooms were very clean, had everything you need and in a great location between Kavala and Drama and to landmarks. The permises were welcoming, neat and well taken care. You can tell the owners have put a lot of personal work and love in the place. Elsa was very sweet, accommodating and gave us great advice for sights to visit around the area.

Superb

The host is very friendly and helpful, we got very good tips about what to do in the area. The location is very close to the ancient theatre of Filipi and if you enjoy driving, you can make a day out of visiting the caves at Aggitis and Alistrati.

The bathroom is a bit small for a big guy like me, and the water preasure is variable. The wifi is a bit spotty, but all in all it's great value for money.

Charming village. If you live nature it’s the place 4u.

Great room, nuce staff.

It’s in a back of beyond village. GPS sent me in circles. Place was deserted, good for an independent travelled but a bit remote if you’re on a deadline. Nice little village!

Value for money, but surely there are better options near by

We liked the hot water, the breakfast (although not included in the price), the Christmas lights and the two bunnies.

The fact that it wasn’t clean (dust all over, dead and alive insects, no cleaning whatsoever during our 5 nights stay!!!), that one of the mattresses was so worn out that nobody could sleep on and the very short shower curtain that let the water spill all over the place and make a mess. Also we did not feel welcome upon arrival and our bed linens and towels were not changed not even once during our whole stay! Not even the rubbish was taken out! The toilet paper was not renewed. Totally neglected..

Fine for short stays or just to sleep

The location suits us as it is a short walk to our relatives home. It is clean and not fussy which we like.

Hot water is erratic at times. Rooms lack windows . There is a large window by the entrance door with curtains, which is fine but the balcony is used by other guests so if you're not fully clothed you need the curtains closed, so no natural light as no other window.

Great place at a great price.

Great breakfast, very friendly staff, great room. The best part was how close we were to the amazing Philippi archaeological site. We were on motorcycles so the staff had us park under shelter and behind the locked gate. Excellent value for money.

Lovely quiet and comfortable

The location was very remote, quiet (the only thing you could hear were the chickens, dogs, and donkey, plus sometimes children playing sweetly). It was the perfect lace to start or 5-week greek exploration far from the crowds.

Because of COviD, the breakfasts were boxed, and not too good.

It was a pleasant quiet place to stay and very pleasant staff who told us all about the area and its points of interest

We found the beds to be much harder than usual- I mentioned this as we left and she said we could have asked for another room- maybe we should have

Nice little stay with large rooms and good value for money.

Nice little place, welcoming staff (a family actually if I understood well), the room I got was large and well equiped, and was a very good value for the money, the bathroom had all the needed stuff too.

The wifi is really bad, the guy who made my check in warned me, but really from my bed (who was not really far from the reception), wifi was not working at all...... and sadly the 4G reception on my phone was also not very good between 1 and 2/5... I hope they will buy new wifi routers or just get some range extenders cause it's really the only negative point I noted during my stay.

Nice quiet stay in a village location.

Location is good for us as is near our relatives. Easy going relaxed atmosphere with very helpful staff.

Curtains were difficult to draw back as very tight on rail.

Ailecek gezmeye geldiğimiz bir yerdi fakat hiç memnun kalmadık. Mutfak kısmında tabak ,tencere,araç gereç yetersiz.ocak 2 li ve aynı anda 2 yemeği birden pişirmeniz bile imkansız.banyo yaptığınızda sular yattiginiz yere akıyor.ilk geldiğimizde mutfakta kocaman bir hamam böceği vardı.camasir makinesinin olmaması büyük bir eksiklik.televizyon çok eski, internete bağlanmıyor.

12 km da Kavala, devi avere per forza la macchina ma hai la possibilità di goderti un posto immerso in una location vicino alle rovine storiche più belle della Tracia. 7/8 gradi in meno di Kavala ed è pure ventilato, hai sotto un ristorantino, forno e minimarket.. volendo puoi anche farti una spaghettata che ogni tanto ci vuole, hai due fornelli angas. Che pace e che aria si respira..
