Lovely guesthouse close to nature

We spent a few days here in April and regretted we couldn't stay longer. We stayed in the self contained unit which has a kitchenette (basic, but perfectly sufficient, and there is a communal kitchen upstairs, too). The place was very clean, spacious and decorated with love to detail. Very comfortable bed! The nights in April can be chilly, so we were glad the house has reliable heating, it was quite cosy. There is also a garden and listening to all the birds around us was pure bliss: hoopoes, nightingales, scops owls, to name just a few - we loved it. The host, who is also fluent in German, was very welcoming and friendly and patiently explained lots of sights in the area to us - we felt very well taken care of. Thanks again for arranging the boat tour, too - it was an unforgettable experience! The location in Stavroupoli is perfect as it is close to the village (shops are within walkable distance), it is quiet and there is ample space to park the car. We cannot recommend this place enough and hope we will be able to return one day.

A lovely traditional house and very homely. The host was full of suggestions for local activities and places to visit for my short stay.

The Google map reference is wrong so you will probably need to ring the host. Three Words location is lotuses.tornado.beeline if that helps.

A beautiful traditional house in a wonderful setting, ideal both for relaxing and for exploring the area. The hosts are very kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back!

Perfect, no other way to describe it. Massive house, all catered for and super close to all attractions. Super serene. Gentleman who owns it is a legend. Super involved in the community, knows everything about the natural attractions and was so friendly and willing to help us have the best time possible. We are definatelty coming again and for a few weeks next time!!!!

Κορυφαία επιλογή διαμονής στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Θράκης!

Εξαιρετική επιλογή στην πόλη της Σταυρούπολης! Παραδοσιακό κατάλυμα που προσφέρει το καλύτερο πρωινό που έχουμε δοκιμάσει έως σήμερα σε αντίστοιχα καταλύματα (να κλείσετε οπωσδήποτε με πρωινό!). Τη διαφορά κάνει ο Παντελής που είναι επίσης ο καλύτερος οικοδεσπότης με πολλές γνώσεις για την περιοχή και τη φύση.

Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν η τηλεόραση που είναι παλιάς τεχνολογίας. Η αλήθεια είναι όμως πως δε μας έλειψε όσο μείναμε στη περιοχη.

Μια υπέροχη διαμονή!!

Τη διαμονή μας στο Αρχοντικό θα τη θυμόμαστε σίγουρα ανάμεσα στις καλύτερες, αν όχι την καλύτερη, που έχουμε βιώσει. Μείναμε στη σουίτα (ζευγάρι με ένα παιδί) για 4 βράδια. Είναι όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες, και ακόμα καλύτερη. Ο χώρος είναι άνετος, με πολύ όμορφη διακόσμηση, αυθεντική παραδοσιακή. Το μπάνιο είναι επίσης άνετο. Το τζάκι δουλεύει τέλεια. Πήγαμε Γενάρη με πολύ κρύο τις πρώτες μέρες. Ανάβαμε κάθε βράδυ το τζάκι. Την επόμενη μέρα ο κύριος Παντελής είχε φροντίσει να ανανεώσει τα ξύλα, και να ετοιμάσει το τζάκι για το επόμενο άναμα. Ο κύριος Παντελής είναι ο οικοδεσπότης του καταλύματος. Είναι πολύ φιλικός και βοηθάει σε ό,τι χρειαστείς! Είναι φοβερός γνώστης όλης της περιοχής, και δίνει απλόχερα τις συμβουλές του για μέρη που μπορεί κάποιος να επισκεφθεί. Το κατάλυμα επίσης παρέχει και πρωινό (προαιρετικά), το οποίο είναι εξαιρετικό, ποιοτικό, με σπιτικά προϊόντα. Το ετοιμάζει ο κύριος Παντελής κάθε πρωί. Μην το παραλείψετε. Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος είναι εξαιρετική. Άνετο παρκινγκ απέξω ακριβώς, 5 λεπτά περίπατος μέχρι το κέντρο του χωριού και μισή ώρα απόσταση από το κέντρο της Ξάνθης, μία ώρα από Δράμα. Δίπλα στον Νέστο και πολύ κοντά σε δραστηριότητες (πχ βόλτα με άλογα). Επίσης, στο χωριό θα βρείτε δύο πολύ ωραία ταβερνάκια: το Στέκι και το Παλιό Σταθμό. Ελπίζουμε να μπορέσουμε να ξαναπάμε κάποια στιγμή στον μέλλον.

Die Besitze Stella und Pantelis sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit, offen und herzlich. Pantelis hat uns am Ankunftstag herzlich mit Loukoumi begrüßt, ausführlich die Gegend erklärt ( er spricht gut Deutsch) und ganz viel Material ( Heftchen, u.a. selbst erstellte Karten, Infobroschüren) mitgegeben. Als wir Interesse für einen Kanufahrt am Nestos Fluss bekundet haben, rief er Georgios an und wir konnten spontan am nächsten Tag mit dem Kanu fahren ( übrigens 100% Empfehlung, wir waren die ganze Fahrt fast nur alleine am Fluss, es war eine atemberaubende Erfahrung). Stella war so lieb und hat sogar für uns Piroschki gebacken, die super lecker waren. Die ganze Gegend ist wunderschön, wir waren bei unseren Fahrten und Wanderungen fast immer alleine unterwegs und konnten die Ruhe genießen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich ca. 5 Min. vom Dorfplatz entfernt. Parken kann man ohne Probleme an der Straße. Die Zimmer sind rustikal und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet ( es gab sogar Schlappen, Zahnbürsten und feuchte Tücher). Man kann die ganze Zeit ebenso die Küche nutzen sowie den Außenbereich.

Für uns waren die Betten etwas zu hart aber es ist ja Geschmackssache.

Το συστήνω με κλειστά μάτια. Πραγματικά ο κύριος Παντελής σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι σαν το σπίτι σου. Το ενδιαφέρον, την φιλοξενία κ την πρόθεση να σε εξυπηρετησει στο οτιδήποτε δεν την έχουμε ξανά συναντήσει σ αυτόν τον βαθμό . Μέχρι κ φυλλάδια έχει φτιάξει ο άνθρωπος για να σου δείξει τι δραστηριότητες μπορείς να κάνεις στην περιοχή. Το κατάλυμα υπέροχο κ πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με ότι μπορεί να χρειαστείς. Ευχαριστουμε για όλη την φιλοξενία, σίγουρα θα ξαναεπισκευτουμε τον ξενώνα σας.

Pantelis ist ein ausserordentlich engagierter Gastgeber, der uns mit einem traditionellen Frühstück verwöhnt hat mit Waldfrucht-Konfitüren, selbst gesucht und hausgemacht. Das Haus hat er geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Er hat uns auch bestens beraten für unsere Ausflüge.
