Nice room. Clean. Comfy bed.
The exterior of the place was scruffy and uninviting. Ditto the reception area.

The breakfast was exceptional, lots of choice and perfectly cooked.
Plenty of space in the house, a sitting room with tons of books to look at.
The bed was super comfortable and clean, with beautifully laundered sheets and pillow cases.
I loved the garden, the beautiful trees and the views out to the hills.
The house was within walking distance of the town, and so we could leave the car and go out for a meal in the evening.
My room, at the back of the house was not warm enough, the bed did not feel aired. My brother and sister-in-law's room was fine. I would have liked to have been able to open the window.

Very homely, quiet and unique place to stay. Fantastic breakfast and very peaceful.
Nothing. But if you’re looking for somewhere modern and bland, I wouldn’t recommend this B&B.
