Entering our room was a bit challenging. In the absence of a reception area arrangements had to be made I advance for somebody to be there to open doors. This must be clarified up front.

Great exchange with owners. They're available and helpful, and all went smoothly. The location is great, and the room is clean and calm. The bed is very comfortable.

Unfortunately (but this was mostly related to weather), the room was quite chill and moist (radiators didn't seem to work), and water pressure had some issues (low).

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well located for visiting Rome.

Our experience with the check-in was very stressful. Our flight was delayed because of bad weather, which was completely out of our control, and we informed the host as soon as possible. We also accepted the €45 late check-in fee after 11 PM. However, throughout the evening we felt a lot of pressure from the host regarding our arrival time. At no point before booking was it clearly stated that check-in would no longer be possible after 1 AM. We were repeatedly encouraged to take an expensive taxi even though we had already found another way to reach the property. Fortunately, Riccardo was very kind and waited for us despite the delay, and we appreciate his help. But overall, the communication around the late check-in made the situation much more stressful than necessary after an already exhausting journey.
