Beautiful aesthetic to the outdoor environment. Lots of privacy. Outdoor area exclusively for us. Very friendly & helpful hosts. Clean and comfortable inside, with generously sized king size bed. Appreciated the provision of fans in the bedrooms. Very convenient for Southend Barns.

Pre requested iron & board. Arrived late afternoon before attending wedding the next day. Would have been helpful if it had been in the cottage for our arrival, since no one was on site that evening. We were fortunate as we could borrow one from a family member staying at other accommodation. Host apologised & no harm done. Would've been stressful without the one we borrowed, tho.

The Apartment was a one bed ground floor of a refurbished to a great standard old windmill. We had our own outside space. There was also a paddock for pets to relieve themselves. There are about 10 different units all very individual, not overlooked by anyone. From the owner to the cleaner, we have never been so well looked after and more welcoming. We had tea coffee, milk, sugar, orange juice all waiting. A good written info about walks, if anything needed topping up just ask. Due to circumstances we had to leave a day early. That was a shame as we didn't do all we wanted. All in all a great stay with people who genuinely love dogs (we have a St Bernard) Would definately use again if we were in this area.

Not the fault of owner, but can get lost en-route, wifi went off just at the wrong time. My car wifi. Definately need car to get around. But have car can travel.

Location was convenient for work and the host was welcoming . There was a kitchen with an Oven, hob and microwave so that I was able to cook my own meals .

The Wi-Fi is slow only 13 Mbps with a lot of buffering must be a complete nightmare when all of the properties are occupied. Décor needs updating , peeling paint in several places and the sofa is low and uncomfortable . Picture hanging away from the wall above the bed is quite unnerving luckily it didn't fall on me during the night . Crack in shower tray has a piece of tape stuck over it , whole shower cubicle is old fashioned and not the jets are not working ,the seat is too low only really useful as a ledge for your shampoo and shower gel . Parking was not easy , I only have a small car but there was little room to manoeuvre and would be impossible if the car park was full. It was noisy from busy road and dogs barking , the property is advertised as dog friendly and would be absolute bedlam with dogs staying in each of the properties .
