Pretty in Pink - delightful, cosy chichester house

I don’t want to say too much in case I can’t make a future booking because others have got there first! Pretty in Pink is the best self catered accommodation I have ever booked in all my years of travelling in the UK and abroad! A sad but wonderful back-story can be found in a well packed file giving clear and concise information on who, when, where and why, along with maps and leaflets for various places to visit in and around Chichester. The decor has a friendly and personal feel, with family photos, books, and games. A welcome sight on arrival was the fan (outside temperatures around 30F). The accommodation is fitted out to a very high standard, is comfortable, light and airy and has everything one could want for any length of stay. I particularly loved the seaside theme in the back bedroom. The small garden is a place of calm, great for breakfast on warm days as well as for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Situated on a quiet narrow road, Pretty in Pink is easy walking distance to the city centre where there is a plethora of independent and branded shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. We came as tourists but managed extensive retail therapy too! Contact with Hils (host) wasn't necessary but we had interaction via our booking in regard to where to get the keys and a phone number to talk directly should we need to. Thanks, Hils, for making the nice (very hot) weather remain during our stay! We definitely needed the fan! My neighbour and I stayed for two nights and found it hard to leave. Either separately or together we will certainly be back!

There is nothing to dislike! As the property is situated on a narrow road with little off-road parking, finding a space near the house could be challenging but there is a road to the rear where there are parking opportunities. Wherever you park, be respectful of others and give plenty of space for passing traffic.

For us the bathroom downstairs was a slight inconvenience.
