Cozy place in the heart of the city.

Great location, and friendly staff.

Not the perfect choice for the ones who seek a heavy luxury or hi-tech environment. Everything was fine.

Very Bad

Only location. Just a few hundred meters away from the nightlife streets.

When we entered the hotel, before we even reached the reception, we were greeted by a strong smell of cigarette smoke. An unsmiling staff member did our transactions. When we went up to our room, there was a guest who came to our room before us. It was a cockroach. A few hours later we saw the other friend. We saw a total of two cockroaches in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Great for party-goers who just need a place to sleep

It’s the best central location, with everything within walking distance. However, it’s crowded and not ideal for those who prefer quiet properties. In general, I’ve stayed at more than 10 hotels in central Thessaloniki, and they don’t seem to improve their properties. The furniture is very old, and the cleaning is poor.

Ok choice for one-night transit

The sheets were clean and the bathroom was renovated, clean towels, good location, nice view

the furniture is very old, the room smelled like old furniture, the hall in our floor was also decorated with old furniture, the floor was stained. i recommend changing the furniture. the bed was creaking when you moved from one side to another.

Perfect for one night stay, especially for train/bus transit

We literally booked this room on the way to Thessaloniki and it was perfect for the night. We came by train, and the train station was really close, we didn't even have to cross the main street to get to the hotel, it was just a straight line of walking for about 15 min. It was also around the same distance away from the pubs where we like to go out to when we are in Thessaloniki, so it was perfect in every way. They let us check in after 9 pm even though we made a request like 3 hours before we arrived, and it was nice that we could sleep in because the check out was till noon. We also had a neon Hotel sign right outside our balcony, which we've always wanted to see, just like in the films. The room wasn't big, but it didn't make a difference to us because we were just passing through for one night. We had everything we needed and it was clean.

Bad sound isolation, ear plugs are a must. There was a gap of around 20 cm from the floor to where the bathroom door started, luckily we're couple, but it could be a privacy issue for some.

you will never find a better place to stay that Illios!!! even 5 Stars hotel deluxe cannot compete with them! amazing

everything. people are more than nice, rooms are clean and have everything you need, nice balcony for tanning, fridge, tv, towels, shower gel, soap, wide toilet with a shower comfy bed. reception 24/7 just AMAZING!!

Spacious room and very friendly staff not to far away from the train station and the city center.

Via Egnatia is a busy street all day long, especially at night the cars make a lot of noise. So bring ear plugs or ask for a room not on the road side.
