I can't remember anything special about this hotel. We stayed just for one night, and it was clean and served its purpose. The beds were comfortable.

The parking suggested by staff costs 30 EUR per night. We found a place on the street, though, some 3 blocks away.

On the positive side, the bathroom was clean, and towels and linens were fresh and of good quality.The hotel’s central location is excellent, but I believe improvements in room preparation, maintenance, and guest interaction could make the experience much better.

Upon arrival, I was unexpectedly charged a 7 EUR city tax, and the reception felt a bit distant and unwelcoming. Although I had requested a king bed, the room wasn’t prepared as such and had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. The sound insulation was poor, and one of the twin beds — near the balcony — was quite uncomfortable. I also experienced inconsistent water temperature during my stay.

Comfortable stay at the well located Mandiro Hotel. Everything as described including a good breakfast. Thanks for storing my luggage for a few hours after checkout.

For me the location was very good and my stay was very comfortable.

Location close to city centre is a big advantage of the hotel. Near the hotel the bus stop is situated and subway station only few minutes away. The price was adequate to standard of the hotel.

Hotel is located along a busy street and sometimes it was loud, especially when window was open.

Central Location, you can reach many places by foot. Breakfast was good. Front desk is helpful and kind. Room is big enough

Our room was at the first floor and facing to street so a bit noisy early morning. Car Park is a huge problem in Thessaloniki, we left our car in a car park and never used for two days. Taxis and by foot enough to see city

Good for a short stay

The location is perfect, close to bars, restaurants, shops etc. Walking distance to the center. Very close to a public parking.

Our room was a bit small, the toilet door is glass so it made a bit uncomfortable using the toilet while someone else is in the room.

It was our third time at Mandrino. As always, one of the best value for money choices in Thessaloniki. As a tip, book a room with balcony, to get the city vibe and enjoy your coffee.

Happy With Choice and would return

Room 807 Top Floor with great view from balcony .Location was good but noisy. ALL staff from cleaners to reception very nice and helpful. Room spotless clean with nice bedding. Modern feel. Great having a small fridge in room Internet Good. Paid for breakfast but never went as lots of other choice around area so cant comment.

Single room was VERY small so was the shower cubicle, no place to store cloths apart from a small rack so room looked messy and untidy when un packed. . Air condition wasn't the best ( it was very hot outside) . I had to move bed at night under Air Conditioner at night to sleep better. Would have liked a kettle in room. Only 1 body towel giving per day. Not great when having 2 showers or more a day. Curtain round door not big enough as sunlight was in room at 5am. Mentioned to Reception only on departure as I had a eye mask.

Very dirty, bathroom was tiny the toilet was directly in front of the bain

Staff were friendly

A few things to note regarding my room. The hot and cold water taps are connected incorrectly and when you turn on the cold it runs hot. The toilet didn’t flush properly, the air conditioner didn’t work efficiently, the room had not been cleaned before I arrived the shower was disgusting and the basin was not clean. The room also smelt like stale smoke. Overall I was very disappointed in the quality of the room.

Not cozy, small room with old renovation. Old-style air conditioner that is almost impossible to control. The view from the window on the wall and the ruined houses.

I loved the room. It had a balcony and was very cozy. Good airconditioning. Room was cleaned every day. Location was good with multiple places to get lunch and coffee nearby. Airconditioning was great, comfortable beds with good linnen and nice pillows!

The doors to the hallway are pretty noisy. If you’re a light sleeper this might be annoying when people get back late. Still, it was okay for us. The bathroom was a bit smelly, probably from the shower drain or toilet drain.

Good hotel near to the center and the port

This is a good hotel very near both to the center of Thessaloniki and the port. Perfect breakfast. Everything else was great, good value for money. Staff was very friendly. There is a garage nearby, but be very careful when trying to find it - narrow streets, have to make long U-turns if you don't know the direction, etc.

Excellent location at the center (close to the many sights and public transport stops). Excellent price and quality ratio. Excellent Swedish table-type breakfast. Comfortable room with table and chair well-suited for work . Pretty good sound isolation - despite my room window being at the central street side, I heard no noise at night. Helpful staff.

Shower and bathroom for larger man is slightly too small.
