I have traveled to many countries around the world, but Hotel Alexandria is by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I made a reservation for a room with one double bed and one single bed (see Photo 1). However, what we were actually provided with as a “double bed” is shown in Photos 2 and 3. This experience was shocking, unacceptable, and misleading. The conditions are inhumane, incorrect, and clearly manipulative, as the accommodation provided does not correspond in any way to what was advertised and confirmed at the time of booking. If it were possible, I would rate this so-called hotel –10 points on Booking. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Best, Fidan Kalaja

Very pleasant stay

Extremely friendly staff - we could Check in early and also could Store luggage on Check out day. We had a Room on the Opposite side of the street - very Beautiful House and tasteful clean Room. I was expecting it to be noisy, as Room was located in City Center - but it was totally fine!!!

The hotel is located right in the heart of Thessaloniki. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The room is nicely arranged, with two terraces and a small kitchen, and the building has an elevator.

It is stated that the hotel has parking, but in reality this refers to a public parking lot they have an arrangement with. The parking is about 200–300 meters away from the hotel, which isn’t too far, but if you have luggage it’s not very convenient since you can’t stop the car anywhere nearby—the hotel is on a very busy main street. The parking also comes at an additional cost of €15 per day. Our room was located in a building across the street from the main one, which made communication a bit less convenient.

My impression is that building and room were verry romantic

Staff was verry kind. Room was verry spacious and beautiful, much more than in the pictures. We had view on the main street and it was loud when window is opened, bat when you close widows it was verry quiet. Bathroom was verry clean and it had all we needed. Television and air-condition were included. Building is old, but it had an elevator. We used private parking verry close by, and the price was 18€ per night. You can check-in or check-out at any time. Center of the city was verry close and it was great for walking

Perfect location! We've got apartment 1b, very spacious, clean, quiet and Ac was perfect. Located in main street was easy to access everything, hard to find parking though but we made it. Thank you guys, check in and check out in less than 2 min. Once again thank you!

Location is in the center of the City. We enjoied walking by the sea path.

We enjoyed the stay for one night. Staff is very friendly and polite. Hard to find free parking and even if you find isn’t secure ( just for the pice of mind) Alexandria offer’s Parking spot nearby for 15 € for us it worked well.

Superb

Staffs were welcoming and always smiling. They gave us many good tips for taverns, bakeries, sights, how to get around the city and where to find the best beach. The two of us were accommodated in three twin-beds room with no extra charge. Air condition and big flat screen TV in the room. The bus stop is few metres from the front door.

Noisy neighbourhood, but you can close the window and you won't hear anything from outside, but that is the con of location (the city centre).

İt’s noisy

it is very noisy. The Room was not in the hotel. The room has a balcony but you can not smoke ciggaratte. You have to sign a document. If you smoke ciggaratte, you have to pay 125 Euro. Because of this, you have to be attention. To check out, I didnt find a reception person at 07:10 o clock.

I asked for quite room and there was customer who was making noises outside my room smoking! I got up from my sleep and reported and then tried to sleep for my early flight to be shocked and awaken by the man brining the clean sheets to the store room opposite me and when complained to reception his reply was people are here for holiday and party! I couldn't sleep for continuous 4 hour sleep at night due to noises and was so upset

The fact that the hotel is on the main street is a plus.Everything was fine in the hotel. The friends at the reception were very kind. The room was clean. The hotel is locked at 00.00. You can only enter the hotel with a password. If you are entering in for the first time, you must enter in before 00:00.

During the night, there is no one at the reception where you can get support. There is no hair dryer in the room. Therefore, you have to ask at the reception.

The room was very clean, the appartment is perfect for 3 people. It is close to the city center, the staff was very helpfull. The parking lot is close to the hotel, and to the city center. The appartment is better looking than in the photos.

The internet was very very slow, it was like there is no wifi. If that is fixed the appartment will be perfect.

It was just what I needed - comfort bed to sleep and rest, ok bathroom with hot water to take a shower

I like that they are open 24/7 and comfort bed in the room.
