Lovely staff, good location some attention needed in the facilities (shower).

Easy access to the town and a great running/drinking area in the rear.

As a single traveller. I do get fed up by being placed on the higher floors. As a motorcyclist I have more gear/stuff to carry. Lift withstanding. Also the shower head needed replacing. I would have mentioned it but I was there for one night.

Scammers, avoid it

Extremely disappointing experience. The hotel listing clearly mentioned Wi-Fi, but at check-in, the receptionist told me, "hotel has Wi-Fi, not the rooms"—such an illogical and misleading statement. I had booked the stay for important office work and was forced to leave the hotel the same evening due to the lack of Wi-Fi in the room. To make matters worse, the receptionist was rude, unhelpful, and even threatened to falsely claim that I used the room and facilities after I returned the keys. Despite assurances from customer service later, no refund has been processed. This experience felt like nothing short of cheating—wrong information, no basic service, no refund, and unacceptable behavior. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Only location. The accomodation is in a cute small town, cca 30min from Salzburg centrum, by car. Bed sheets seemed clean.

The staff was very unfriendly and rude, barely speak English, no thank you, no please, no excuse me, no instructions for the elevator or at least the room, nothing. The room was dirty, especially the bathroom was really disgusting (dirty toilet, hairs on the floor, dust everywhere). We came downstairs to complain about the dirty bathroom, the lady at the desk told us that someone is coming in 10min. After 30min and nobody showing up, we had to ask for the cleaning again. No "i'm so sorry"... No excuse me .. nothing at all.. The room is old, walls are dirty. And the bed is a whole other story, it is impossible to sleep on, squeaking with every liitle move you make. Absolutelly NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Passable hotel to stop for the night.

It was a very convenient place to stop as we drove through Austria.

There was confusion about seeing that we had already paid through booking.com when we checked in so that took a couple minutes to sort out. The WiFi did not extend to our room on the third floor which was very irritating. So we had free Wifi, but only if we went down to the lobby.

We arrived on 27.12., the hotel was closed, on the door there was a telephone contact for the owner, who guided us to the room keys. Instead of the recommended three beds, instead of one bed, there was an armchair spread out, all the equipment remembers the last century. The restaurant was closed, despite the fact that it was marked as open in he description of the accommodation. We had nowhere to eat in the entire city and had to drive 30 km to another village. The owner came in the morning and was very uncommunicative..

Superb

Very well managed guest house in the old building placed in the heart of small village beside the medieval castle. Whole place look like from past centuries with fairytale's atmosphere. The accommodation leaded by women staff is perfectly managed. Room was sufficient, clear and quite. I fully recommend.

Great little guest house. Lots of character in public areas. Lady serving dinner in evening was a hoot...friendly and fun. Delicious food in restaurant, even though the staff were clearly run off their feet. Comfortable bed and big room.

The decor in room was lacking character a little, but that didn't matter to us. A place to rest your head before continuing a journey - perfect!

The location was really good and the outside of the hotel looks pretty

The shower head was completely broken and the water temperature was not consistent. The beds were really worn out. The curtain was broken so you couldn’t keep the light out of the room

We came late and staff were a little stressed. Very slow WiFi. Breakfast has very good reviews, but I found it mediocre. Good, but not rich!
