We stayed at Hinterkellaubauer from December 26th to 29th and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet perfectly positioned for day trips. It’s an easy drive into Salzburg and only about an hour away from the stunning village of Hallstatt. The house itself is beautiful, traditional, and very well-maintained. What truly made our stay special, however, was the hospitality. The host is incredibly kind and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Also, don’t miss the breakfast—it is super good, fresh, and the perfect start to a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, authentic Austrian experience!
