Amazing , clean, relaxing

We stayed here for 4 nights and the rooms were immaculately clean each day: Danai and family were amazingly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to make our stay special and accommodated our early start on last day at breakfast (which was lovely with homemade pastry etc ) thank you for a lovely stay xx

Close to beach, beautiful villa and vibe

Danai and her daughter were such lovely hosts! We loved staying there with air con and mini kitchen. It was quiet and clean and just what we needed. Away from a lot of tourists too. Thanks!

Beautiful room and a very kind host!

The room was stunning and clean. Our hostess was so kind and made us feel at home. A highlight of our trip was having breakfast on the balcony every morning. It’s also just a short walk from a great beach. Also, they have the sweetest orange cats that live on the property that greeted us every time we came back!

We loved our stay at Villa Danai. Charming hosts, great breakfast, spacious and well-appointed room with lovely personal touches. It was the ideal location: 5 minutes to a gorgeous beach, yet in a rural setting. (We were awakened by a rooster in the morning) Our room was on the top floor with a wonderful balcony which had sea views. There were also several windows, so we could get a nice breeze at any time. It was very safe, which made for a restful stay.

Relax in a great location and value for money with a seaview

We had an upstairs studio with a sea view from the balcony and kitchen windows, with the boat bed shown in photos. The style was dark wood and rustic, with little touches on the theme of boats. It's only a 10 minute drive from the tiny airport but there was no noise. Easy undercover parking, which is a real issue in the busy coastal villages and the Chora. Danai brought us a lovely breakfast tray around 9am each morning, typically cheese toast with ham or a roll with fresh tomatoes/feta salad, tea/coffee, juice, Greek yogurt with honey, and fresh baked bread. A great start to the day looking out to the sea. Daily housekeeping and immediate attention for a small issue which was fixed. The location was perfect; 5 minutes stroll to the seafront bars and beach. Special mention for Ostria restaurant, where we had two great meals while watching the sunset. Here and at its neighbouring places you can stay from breakfast to dinner, with sunbeds and snacks in the daytime giving way to romantic dinners either on the beach itself or inside. Overall very relaxing and we were very well looked after.

Internet was sometimes slower than we're used to but that wasn't a huge issue - we came to relax! The bed was quite firm which suited us, but might not be to everyone's taste.

A wonderful relaxing stay in a fantastic place

Villa Danai is a unique property, beautifully decorated using artwork created by the owners family it is in a quiet location but only a few hundred metres from the beaches at Agia Anna The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and really made the stay special for us

Perfect stay

The hosts gave us a beautiful breakfast every morning, plus little extras, may it be their own dried figs or some of his home made wine. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The town, beaches or bus stop only a few minutes walk yet very quiet at the villa. Would definitely recommend staying

Great staff, value, and experience

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Danae was very responsive and offered to arrange a taxi pickup at the ferry, which was super helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet, with a good size private outdoor area. Property is a 5 minute walk to the beach, with a supermarket nearby and tons of restaurants and beach clubs.

Lovely, spacious room. Very friendly and welcoming owner.

Our room was sub-level so there was no view from the terrace but it meant that there was no wind, which made it a pleasant place to sit when the wind was howling.

Good place but expensive

Good staff, friendly and helpful Breakfast in the room is good

Bathroom without curtain shower, when you take a showe be careful, all the bathroom will finish like a flood. A lot of cats around, with gaps to go into the terrace. Sea views… well, maybe in the upstairs rooms. In the ground floor you can not see it. Also, the access by car is hard and must be done by unpaved roads. They clean the room everyday, but leave the bedsheet over the bed, so you should put it (at the end, is like you should do the bed everyday)

Lovely

One member of our group literally gasped when we rounded the corner “it’s so cute!”. It’s a beautiful villa and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Danai is a wonderful host. Property is just a very short walk to beach and restaurants but feels secluded and remote. Highly recommend

The only possible “complaint” is that it’s down a dirt road so it’s mildly dusty walking if a vehicle comes along. Completely worth it and adds to the charm otherwise.

Organization was on point! Danai checked us a cheap taxi to pick us up at the harbour. She also managed to check different places to rent an ATV, so we could choose the best prize or the place we most trust.

Magnifique

L'emplacement, au calme près d'une magnifique plage, avec de supers restaurants, relativement proche de la Chora de Naxos (bus ou voiture). L'hospitalité et l'authenticité de nos hôtes, ce qui est précieux de nos jours. Les bons conseils et le service 5 étoiles. Grâce à Danaï, nous avons organisé notre emploi du temps et profité de la plage les journées sans vent, loué une voiture à bon prix pour la journée (amenée directement à l'hôtel) pour visiter un peu la campagne et la montagne de Zeus, et évité de rater notre ferry à cause la houle en réservant dans la seule compagnie capable de naviguer par grand vent. La décoration était originale et chaleureuse.

Hôte très attentionnée. Logement très propre! Pas grand mais suffisament confortable. Bonne literie. Nous étions au -1 ce qui finalement a l'avantage d'être plus frais pour dormir ce qui est mieux.. Bel éclairage

Dans la salle-de-bain, il faudrait peut-être installer une petite séparation entre la douche et le wc pour ne pas tout mouiller (le papier wc) mais c'est un tout petit détail rien qui n'empêche de passer un bon séjour.

Pros del apartamento: muy cerca de la playa, servicio muy atento, nos avanzaron la hora del desayuno de forma muy amable, parking privado, cerca de supermarket.

Cons: ducha sin cortina, apartamento justo para 4 personas, camino de acceso a la villa de tierra, el desayuno para 4 lo encontramos bastaba justito y poco variado, colchón muy duro para nuestro gusto.

Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Sie hatten tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Strände, die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht haben. Besonders praktisch war, dass wir ganz kurzfristig direkt über die Unterkunft ein Auto mieten konnten. Das hat alles unkompliziert funktioniert, ohne Stress oder Aufwand für uns. Unser Zimmer war mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über das Bett, das aus einem alten Fischerboot gebaut wurde. So etwas sieht man nicht alle Tage. Ein echtes Highlight war auch der große Balkon mit Meerblick. Dort haben wir jeden Morgen unser Frühstück genossen, das uns frisch gebracht wurde. Wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern und konnten einfach nur genießen. Die Lage war ebenfalls perfekt. Zu Fuß waren wir in wenigen Minuten am Strand, bei gemütlichen Tavernen oder an der Bushaltestelle, um in den Hauptort zu fahren. Auch ein gut sortierter Supermarkt lag direkt auf dem Weg. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Skvělý týden na ostrově s Danai

Krásný týden na ostrově Naxos! Velmi tematické ubytování, denně úklid, koupelnové potřeby k dispozici. Pokoj v patře s dvěma balkony, výhled na moře. Hostitelé skvělí, pozorní 😁. Chutná dostačující snídaně na pokoj v čase Vámi zvoleném, řecký jogurt+ denní obměna -sendvič, omeleta, pizza, koláč. Káva, veka, máslo, marmeláda. Villa na klidném místě v docházkové vzdálenosti k moři. Strategicky výborné místo pro dovolenou na ostrově - doporučujeme auto. Děkujeme Danai za klidný a odpočinkový týden, doporučíme přátelům.
