Bad communication. Good location.

We liked the location. It looked out on the sea but also on a busy road so the bus stopped right outside our window and we could hear people bumping music out there. It was a very cute balcony though and nice to see the sea.

Communication was a nightmare. No one answered my first email asking about arrival times 2 weeks before our stay. Then the day before our stay I sent a message asking about the location. No answer. The day of our arrival we got a message that the key would be in the door. Although there is a sign for the hotel on the Main Street there is no entrance so we went around the block looking. We asked at a nearby deli and a restaurant for help. We spent a good 2 hours knocking on doors of the Magic view 2 building asking people if they knew where room number 5 was. Finally some Greek kids we met were willing to call the Magic View number (I tried calling the number listed at the phone on the desk and got a recording in Greek). The guy hung up on them and then the hotel phone rang and a girl from Magic View was calling back. We told her we had looked for hours and saw no sign of number 5. Then she told us that we had to open room number 8 and behind that would be room number 5. Why not tell us in the email and save us hours of looking and panic? Also the WiFi was terrible. We had to leave and go to a restaurant for WiFi several times.

Great small apartment at a fantastic location

Great location could see Agia Anna beach from my window. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and a bus stop to get to Town. Also worth mentioning there is no private beach access. For agia anna beach that’s right across the property, it’s Leo arises and you’ll expect to pay between 20-30 euros per umbrella & sunbeds set(which goes down to 10 euros after 5pm). There are areas of the beach that aren’t privatised so you can make your own arrangements too.

WiFi was unusable. This was a personal hindrance as I was completing some remote work and WiFi was really bad, could not load even google search, let alone any videos. Luckily I had my personal roaming plan but if internet access is important for your stay, don’t rely on the property WiFi.

Staff were very helpful. Location is fab, 12 steps and you're at the beach! Close to cafes and bars. Great spot for families. Very clean.

Wifi was on and off. Rooms were tight, but if you're just there for sleep and showers it's OK. Beds a bit too hard for us.

Exceptional

We had a perfect stay. The appartment has realy Magic view from the balcony. The beautiful beach iin Agia Ana s few steps from the appartment and the bus station is in front of the appartment. But the most important part is the most beatiful yellow sandy beach with clean blue waters. The appartment is clean with all necessary things. Also, they cleaned it almost every day and also during oir 4 day stay, they changed the sheets and towels. There are also two small markets nearby. We're suprised when we realised that instead of one appartment we get in fact two connected studios, with two bathrooms, two balconies and kitchenetes. The owners doughter, Angela was all the morning at our disposal, helping us with anything we needed.

Amazing view and super near the beach, bus stop and cafés.

The room wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom. For a solo traveller it's fine but for children I'd want something cleaner.

lovely stay at Magic View Agia Anna

I had a lovely stay at Magic View Agia Anna. I stayed here for three nights and as a young woman travelling alone I felt very safe. The apartment was right across from the beach and a small supermarket and a bus stop. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well.

The wifi dropped out very often.

Would not recommend. It was cheap but i’ve stayed in much better places that were cheaper.

The location

We had no hot water for 2 nights and the pressure on the cold water was extremely weak so it was very uncomfortable to shower. The bedding had stains on it before we had slept in the bed. We were woken up by a cleaner knocking on the door and when we politely asked if she could come back in 30 minutes so we could get ready and go, she was rude and didn’t clean our room that day. The wifi didn’t work in our room and neither did our 4G. The towels were extremely old and rough.

Perfect for our needs!

We only needed somewhere for a few days at short notice and we wouldn't be spending a lot of time in it. This property was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean, great location and good value. Thank you! :-)

The kitchenette utensils were very sparse. We had to go and buy our own bottle opener from the nearby mini-market - which broke on first use. But that is all. No other problems.

Very well located, in front of the beach and with a beautiful mulberry. The staff is very nice and helpful. They upgrade our bedroom for free. The place is very clean.
