Riad Dar Tuscia

Very clean and homelike, felt we were part of the locals as it was located in Medina. Good vibe about the Moroccan culture. Nice breakfast. Also, Ahmad is a very welcoming host.

Toilet/Shower too small.

The riad was clean, spacious and the staff were great. It's around a 25min walk to main the main square but you walk through different souks on the way which was nice. The showers had hot water which was a nice touch. Breakfast was ok, usually fried eggs. Some bread jam, peanut butter, and pancakes. For the price it is great if you love walking.

We would definitely recommend Riad dar Tuscia. The owners and staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Communication prior to our holiday was very good. The owners arranged taxi transfer from the airport. The driver was easy to find outside the airport and we were met at the medina gate, saving us having to spend ages trying to find the riad. There were no issues with the room and the beds were comfy, we slept well every night. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful each morning, as was the dinner we booked for the first night. The riad is in an excellent location in the medina, very quiet area and close to one of the gates. As others have said it's a 20 minute walk to the Jemaa- el-Fnaa, if you don't get lost, but that's all part of the fun, with looking in all the souks on the way. Jardine Majorelle and YSL museum is 15 mins walk away.

There is nothing to fault, apart from a 4 night stay wasnt long enough but it gives us an excuse to return 😀

The property was decorated nicely and I enjoyed the feel of the riad. It was a very nice and quiet little place on the outskirts of town and don’t expect to meet anybody because I only ever saw the person that checked me in.

The spa is cash only which isn’t an issue as I understand most places only accept cash, just wish they advertised that beforehand. The location isn’t great as it’s on the outskirts but it’s still pretty walkable, just a bit far and sketchy towards the night time. Also, I scheduled a taxi through the riad who at least showed up at the exact time to take me to the airport which was great, but upon leaving I was unable to find anybody to check out with. I ended up having to leave as I would miss my flight otherwise. I tried contacting them through WhatsApp, booking.com, went through every room that was open, and even yelled a little bit to see if anyone was around, but no one so unsure what the reason was as they knew I was checking out at that time since I literally scheduled my taxi to the airport around that time through them.
