Grand Hotel de Courtoisville

Very comfortable hotel, fine for an overnight stay

Really hard to find, confusing one way system and Google maps didn't help! Restaurant closed and hard to find anywhere local to eat on a Sunday evening

Everything about this hotel was brilliant. Spacious comfortable room with balcony. Location right next to beach for dog walks and a 20-30 min walk along the promenade to the old town. Good swimming pool. Great bar and outside area to relax. All staff were very friendly and noting was too much trouble. Valet parking was excellent and car ready for our departure. Bags taken to room and back to car. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Dinner was good although wine maybe a bit pricy. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again. We pushed the boat out to spoil ourselves and glad we found this hotel - total luxury for us as not stayed in such a hotel before. Good value for money.

The only point we would like to make is that it would have been good to have a fridge in the room.

The hotel is gorgeous. We had a deluxe family suite with 2 en suite bathrooms. It is beautifully designed and very clean. Also loved the Sothys bathroom products- have been on the hunt for them!

The staff was not friendly or welcoming, and nobody helped with our luggage. We were told the restaurant was open and we just wanted a simple snack, but the restaurant staff would not seat us. The hotel is so lovely, but the staff hurt our experience.

Nice size Suite / Room 316 Front desk Team / Carolina & Julien Bar Team Anouk Their warmth, professionalism, and dedication brought back the feeling of what could be a true **** experience should be. At the moment, I will rate it at as a *** property. Beautiful (yes) but unfortunately, the shortage of staff is a problem for that property.

No restaurant open on Sunday and Monday No Mini Bar / No Fridge / No tea kettle / No mug for morning tea only 2 espresso cup! Amenities cleaned after 3 days! Bar staff running room service. If you want to eat on Sunday - Eat in your room.. The hotel feels like finding its rhythm - a bit like a baby taking its first steps. Unfortunately, the current shortage of hospitality staff clearly shows through moment of inconsistency in both service and execution, which can feel disappointing at this level of pricing. ONLY 2 staff at the SPA - one apparently got injured, my treatments were cancelled. The level of service aligned with a 3*** standard rather than the expectations one might have for a higher-tier property BUT leaves room for improvement.
