Old fashioned charm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people made us feel so welcome. We had 2 nights there and had breakfast and dinner there. Our dinners were cooked to perfection and better than any 5 star restaurant. The homemade mayonnaise was the best we ever tasted. Breakfast was also very good and plenty. The hotel decor is very unique and has a bit of old fashioned charm. You know the place is good when the bar is filled with locals. We felt very spoilt and comfortable there.

Although it was not what I expected the room was very clean .... old country house, spacious. The hosts where very nice and the food excellent but limited choices . Great breakfast. The kitchen had a huge window and you could see from outside how spotless it was!

Excellent place to stay and the staff were exceptional.

The hotel met all our expectations and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful also preparing an evening meal for us despite being a Sunday evening. The room had everything you could want and many small extras that you would not expect from this type of village accommodation.

Nothing really, my friend thought the dinning room was lacking sufficient light but for me it was part of the experience in this type of property.

A lovely alternative to standard city hotels, a true country inn experience with a fine host!

We liked the rural location, which we chose over central Kortrijk (we were there for a musical event in Harelbeke, which has *no hotels!). Quiet, clean, uncrowded, peaceful, in the beautiful farm country, where we got a long walk among the fields and farms one morning, and also visited the small Centrum. The room was nice, just big enough, the bed comfortable, the bathroom nice, including the skylight. The food at the little restaurant was great! We really loved the breakfasts, varied and generous, good coffee, and our host, Guido, was the soul of hospitality, like a true Host from a bygone era, an interesting man with ready conversation and very good English! He filled us in on a lot of local lore and the story of his Inn, and took an interest in the Harelbeke musical competition we were participating in. And he picked us up at the train station when we arrived. Dinner was generous Belgian portions and delicious, with fresh (local?) mussels and sole in (much) butter and perfectly cooked vegetables. Room cleaning was good and prompt, and there was (apparently gratis) beer in the fridge!

Local roosters woke us up at 4:30 AM every day (not the Inn's fault, of course), and kept it up for an hour. On top of jet lag. The bathroom sliding door is frosted glass, which means any light in there at night leaks into the bedroom if we got up to use the bathroom in the night. Not a big problem, but easy to put a light-covering over the glass for night use. The fridge could have been cleaner, and the instant coffee needed to be replenished for super-early mornings.

Heerlijk gastvrij bedrijf met lieve mensen die alles in het werk stellen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te laten verlopen, heerlijk rustig en een goed ontbijt.

Grand hébergement, deux pièces. Bon petit déjeuner, abondant. Hôte courtois, facile d'accès mais toujours un peu pressé a cause de son commerce de café-restaurant. Repas du soir (en extra) au restaurant, bons.

Propreté de surface et draps OK, cependant les taches sur le sofa et les tapis laissent perplexes. Stationnement privé un peu difficile. MAIS il y a 3 places pour 4 logements. Arrivés derniers, nous avons du aller stationner sur rue.

Szállásadónk igazán nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt, mindent megtett, hogy a tartózkodás kellemes legyen. Helyi ötleteket és tanácsokat is kaptunk. Tervben volt, hogy a vacsorát is kipróbáljuk helyben, de aztán mindig másképpen alakult. Nagy kerékpár tároló áll rendelkezésre, ez nagyon kedvező volt. Az apartmanok a főépület mögött, egy kis szervizúton keresztül közelíthetőek meg, így nagyon csendes. Hátul nagy kert van, ki lehet ülni. Tiszta, minden nap elvitték a szemetet és megcsinálták az ágyakat is, egy ilyen pici helyen nem is számítottunk napi takarításra. A parkolás a hátsó kertben három autónak lehetséges, a többi a hotel előtt tud parkolni (ingyenesen). Reggeli kiadós és finom.

Nem volt ilyen, minden olyan, mint a képeken. Aki nem szereti a vidéki, családias hangulatú helyeket, annak nem ajánlott, egyébként tökéletes.

Prima verblijf en vriendelijke eigenaar.

Onderweg naar Frankrijk, hebben we bij Elckerlyck Inn Hotel overnacht. De eigenaar was gastvrij ondanks dat we laat boekte en aankwamen. Volgende ochtend heerlijk ontbijt. Prima verblijf.

Sehr ordentliche Zimmer und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Restaurantleistung war völlig in Ordnung. Jederzeit wieder

Einige Dinge in den könnten in den Zimmern mal erneuert werden, man sieht das länger nichts gemacht wurde.

Supervriendelijke eigenaars en oergezellig

Ontbijt was niet uitgebreid maar zeer lekker en alles vers. Heel vriendelijke uitbaters en een supergezellig café. De kookkunsten van de chef zijn een dikke pluim waard. Helemaal niet duur en toch erg lekker.

Authentiek en gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel en prima ontbijt

Hotel wordt gerund door zeer vriendelijk stel. Kamers zijn prima, eenvoudig, maar charmant en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je wordt wakker van de fluitende vogels. Prima verblijf, ideaal als je bijvoorbeeld de omgeving wil leren kennen op de fiets.

Ik kan niets bedenken.

Wir würden wieder buchen

War ausreichend, liebevoll hergerichtet. Super freundlich. Super das man einen eigenen Eingang zum Zimmer hat, besonderes gut wenn man einen Hund dabei hat.
