Spacious, airy, well-located property with good facilities.

Very spacious, comfortable, nice balcony, safe parking, safe area with lots of very local eating and shopping opportunities. Well equipped, handy for Hopon Hopoff bus stop 10, and for local buses which we didn't have time to investigate. Nice older property.

Slightly tatty in places; red buses only go clockwise which complicated getting back from town.

Excellent stay at No 2 Barrymore

I loved apartment 2 at Barryhall! Clearly a beautiful old historical building lovingly maintained and renovated. Very spacious and stylish. Kitchen had enough utensils, pots and pans etc. Excellent location for walking to nearby shops, restaurants and the beach. It was also very quiet and peaceful there. Host Rita is lovely and very friendly and helpful. Great at communication. I really hope to stay there again on a future trip to Cape Town. I highly recommend this apartment to any future guests.

No complaints whatsoever but a little suggestion. An ice tray in the freezer for nighttime drinks would be much appreciated.

Perfect Seapoint Accomodation

Perfect location, loads of space, place to braai outside, fully equipped kitchen. Off road, safe parking. So close to shops, restaurants and beach. We walked everywhere.

There was nothing not to like, the staff were lovely, the place was easy to find.

Perfect apartment. A great stay and lots of room for a family of 4 in the 2 bed apartment. Very safe and near some great restaurants.

Due to the building being 1 of 4 apartments, it could be a little noisy when other guests moving around. Very big heavy doors, a little echoey.

The staff were really kind and helpful and the location was ideal.

The location was ideal accessible to shops, restaurants, sea front and public transport. Also very secure and safe.

The photos of the cottage were embellished. Unfortunately the cottage was very shabby and dated. Household wiring was very poor and the general maintenance of furnishing was lacking.

Bed and beddings could be improved. Single beds and mattresses joined together to make double bed.

A solid place to take your family

The housekeeper was very friendly and patient with our requests. The plave was very spacious and clean and felt secure the whole time.

It could use a laundry machine. There is bad accessibility issues since the room is separated by a flight of stairs

Second stay here. Love the spaciousness of the accommodation and the thoughtful design features and art work. Great location and very helpful staff. (Another bonus is the fact that the property is not impacted by loadshedding). Will re book if we visit Cape Town again

Loved my little Cottage in the garden, very quiet but short walk down to the coast road, restaurants, shops etc. Comfortable bed. Nice sitting area in the garden just by my door

It was central and the staff were friendly. There was solar power which was great for load shedding.

The owner of the property was rude and dismissive. The bathroom was very small. The carpet in the bedroom smelled as if a cat had urinated on it. On arrival the key to our room didn’t work and as well as the key to the gate. They had to find alternative keys to give us.

Great location, definitely value for money and a brilliant host.

The property is in good condition albeit old. They have all needed amenities including solar so you don’t know there is load-shedding! The host is incredibly accommodating and it’s definitely huge value for money, plus brilliant location with off street parking - huge wine. we stayed in apartment one with three bedrooms.

My only challenge was there are two rooms with two single beds including the master and one room with a small twin/double. My husband and I slept in single beds (very hard beds) and I had to borrow a pillow from a friend as the pillows were flat. I’m certain the host can sort this, I didn’t have a chance to ask for help with this but I have no doubt this is an easy fix.

WE EVEN WALK TO THE STADION WHERE WE WATCH THE SEVENS WORLD RUGBY GAMES. EVERY WALK WAS A SCENERY FULL OF EXCITEMENT. Beautiful house, fabulous location.

I loved the accommodation. The rooms were a good size and the lounge area was very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was super helpful. She met us on arrival, gave us the keys and also gave us lots of information on where supermarkets etc were and also how to get around. The cleaner was also very friendly and super helpful. The location was also fabulous.

The lighting was very dim and there were no sockets next to a mirror (except in one room) which made getting ready very difficult.
