Home away from home in sea point

Location was excellent - close enough to all that I required. Apartment was tidy and in good condition. All appliances listed were available and in working condition for my stay. Really no reason to complain about anything. Gayle was efficient and provided clear instructions for keys, checking in and departing.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the accommodation. The host was exceptionally kind, considerate, and readily available whenever assistance was needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and clearly well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one could need, reflecting thoughtful planning with both comfort and luxury in mind. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I would definitely return. Despite some nearby construction, our stay was pleasant overall. The neighborhood is lovely, perfect for morning jogs and conveniently close to shops and amenities

An amazing apartment to book to enjoy your stay in Cape Town. Zero regrets.

The location of the apartment is amazing, clean, all appliances were working well and convenient, It is close to many amenities and the beach is 30m away. I enjoyed chilling at the stalls area late at night or taking a walk on the beach front walkway. Good security personnel.

No good Tv channel. TV only has news channels and some music but no sport channels etc. Please remove the drawer that is falling, it not not necessary. We can live without it. The Wi-Fi is not reliable, especially for you tube/ other social Apps etc. I used my personal Wifi.

Seapoint Gem

The Apartment is ideally situated, very close to Supermarkets, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Petrol Stations , Laundry shops etc. The rooms are fully furnished and has ample cupboard space. The kitchen makes it feel like home. It has huge windows taking in sights of the city. It is extremely safe so u are at ease even taking walks at night. The Beach is right across the street from the Apartment. There's even food vendor stalls along the beachfront if ud like to opt for something different. The Apartment offers parking which is really great. If ud just like to unwind u can even relax in the front garden of the Apartment. Home away from home ..

Beachfront apartment in a good location and able to accommodate a big family.

The location was fantastic and the fact that the property was able to accommodate the five of us. It is a beachfront apartment and therefore it makes life easy since we did not have to travel to the beach. The apartment is very quiet and clean. There are partial sea views from a balcony that can accommodate two people. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with key appliances. There was also a dining table and the lounge had enough couches. There was also a heater which we desperately needed as it was cold. The family bathroom is generous with both a shower and a bathtub. There were enough towels for everyone. The host was responsive to messages and kept the communication open during the stay. She also allowed us to checkout late for half the rate. I appreciated this and this was very kind of the host.

Whilst the unit has three bedrooms, however they were small in size. The unit was redesigned and partitioned to create additional bedrooms and this resulted in reduced bedroom sizes and one bedroom which is an en-suite does not have exterior windows. We as the parents ended up sleeping in another bedroom which was not an en-suite. There were some basics which were not provided like shower gels in the bathroom. There was also no housekeeping during our three nights stay, however I do understand that this is a common practice with most apartments.

This apartment fell far short of expectations due to multiple inconveniences.

Location and security.

1. Broken Safe & Panic Alarm Malfunction The safe was already broken at check-in as mentioned beforehand, but the panic alarm kept triggering randomly at night, causing unnecessary stress and sleep disruption. 2. Missing Coffee Capsule Machine The listing clearly showed a coffee capsule machine, but it was not provided, which was disappointing. 3. No Parking Available on the First Day 4. No View – Just Construction Noise There was ongoing construction outside with workers making noise early in the morning, ruining any chance of a peaceful stay. 5. Kitchen Sink Leakage The kitchen sink had a constant leak, making it inconvenient to use and creating a mess. 6. Clogged Shower Drain on the First Day The shower drain was completely clogged, causing water to pool and making it difficult to use the bathroom properly. 7- Paranoid written messages that you will charged.

Great location, decent flat

Excellent location. Gated, very friendly guards in the foyer.

Broken coffee pod machine- owner removed when informed, blocked shower tray drain- owner sent someone to fix it when informed. Master bed is small. Building site behind the flat from 7am daily is very noisy but this isn’t the fault of the flat owner.

Good value for location but needs

Location is very good near restaurants and promenade.

The apartment needs an upgrade generally. The TV, leather couch and general furniture and appliances need an upgrade. There is major contruction near the building and even work on Saturdays which is only disclosed after the booking. This will continue for 6-months at least. The pictures on booking.com are of multiple apartments and not just the one you have booked which is deceiving.

Bad Stay

The place was nice and cosy. Good location.

When you arrive, photos need to be taken of all your guests to check in. The security on site is very rude. There is no knowledge of POPI, and neither is there and sensitivity when kids are also living there when it comes to their privacy. There are many flaws in the check-in system, but it is not for me to point out for it to be fixed. The flat did not have some basic essentials, like an egg lifter. We had to enquire for a cloth to be thought to us to clean the kitchen counter tops as there was inky a trying cloth availablel. Some oil would have been helpful as some other places have these basic needs for travellers available to use juust to make life easier. I'd rather stay at a bread and breakfast than go to a place like this. Checking out was also a big issue.when I asked for our photos to be deleted from the system, security was not of any assistance and hostile and rude.

Location, security, size of the aprt, decoration, kitchen utensils, cleanless, wifi etc all are very good and satisfactory in the aprtment. Easy to check in and out. Helpfull host.

There was washing maschine in the photo which we prefer so but it was not available. It'd very nice if there was European adaptor plug as its a realy needed.

Brilliant

This really is the perfect beachfront apartments! Amazing location, great value for money. Gayle is superb, always answers quickly and if you need anything she goes above and beyond to help as well as her husband. The instructions to get keys and everything is very clear and easy which makes it easy to check in and out as well. We had a really lovely stay, thank you so much, definitely highly recommend and will be coming back for sure!! Building security was also really friendly and helpful.
