The location is fantastic. The bed is comfortable, and the place is quiet at night. The apartment has got all the necessary essentials. The communication with the agency was very good. Maria and her team were reliable, friendly and welcoming, and flexible regarding my time of arrival and departure. Velo Taxi Taco is a great method of transport if you come by train and have a suitcase. Arles is a great place to see not only historical architecture, but also contemporary art (Van Gogh Foundation, Luma -recommend guided visit of the tower, Lee Ufan Museum). Everything is at walking distance. Market was great to sample and buy food.
The apartment was very cold on my arrival, and it took a while to heat it. The floors were always ice cold, and the place felt bare. I think the apartment is more suitable for the warmer months.
I would have liked a nespresso type coffee machine, it seems to be standard now in apartments. Some of the cook ware could use an upgrade, for example the scratched pans, etc.
As a female solo traveller, I would avoid some areas at night, especially close to the river.

The location was superb, the view of the amphitheater spectacular and the apartment was well equipped and comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere and there were many shops and restaurants close by. It was a bit tricky to get to, but we were met by the manager who took excellent care of us and showed us around explaining everything. Thank you Janneke for your kind hospitality 🙏 We would not hesitate to return!
The weather was lovely so we had the windows open when we were there. The apartment faces the Amphitheater so there were often tours outside our window so it could be noisy. It didn’t bother us at all though and added to the atmosphere and was very quiet in the evening.
