Studio Van Gogh is the essence of Arles.
The warm limestone-beige walls reminded me of the Arles Amphitheater,
holding the city’s history quietly in their texture.
The Mediterranean blue accents felt like the very blue living inside Van Gogh’s paintings.
The soft greige floor carried the grounded calmness of this region.
In this space, I felt Arles itself.
Late November was quieter — many shops closed, fewer travelers —
yet the city still offered its gentle warmth.
Different from my first visit in September,
but no less welcoming.
A passing bonjour from the postman,
small kindnesses from locals whose words I couldn’t fully understand —
a warmth that needed no translation.
During my 7-day stay, with slow mornings at the table,
I found myself feeling strangely at home —
a cozy little haven.

Like a local
I traveled in Provence for 20 days, 8 nights of which I stayed in this studio in Arles. Some people say the bed linens are crumpled and they wish that had a capsule coffee machine, but if you're environmentally conscious, these are more advantages than disadvantages.
There's a market nearby on Wednesday, where you can buy fresh, affordable groceries.
When I was looking for this studio, I met a woman who manages it on the street. The woman was so kind and welcoming, and I felt comfortable. The host and housekeeper made up for the small imperfection.

A very nice studio very close to the heart of the city!
The location is close to the downtown. Access to property is very smart but make sure you safe the info as the code is long. The French press coffee was a very good surprise as I roast my own coffee before I left!!!!!!! Thank you Merci! The two large towels and small one for the kitchen was nice!!!
The pillows are hard and large, I had a neck pain every morning, hard to sleep. These pillows are for furniture not for bed. I suggest the owner sleep over and see how it feels to get more customers. I own several vacation rentals and I sleep there to make a list of what would make the experience better.

Malheureusement c’était le soir où le Maroc a gagné la demie final de la CAN donc beaucoup de bruit dans la rue. On entend pas mal les voisins de l’autre studio

Bien situé mais à l'opposé du cœur de la zone touristique
La facilité de trouver un stationnement gratuit. L'appartement qui a été rénové récemment: ne pas se fier à l'allure extérieure du building. La propreté des lieux.
L'étroitesse des lieux: le lit est entouré d'une planche en bois qui limite grandement les déplacements et la disponibilité de l'espace vital. La douche qui est très petite. Visé la chambre au premier sinon vous devrez gravir deux escaliers étroits. L'obligation de verses un dépôt de 300 Euros et surtout la difficulté d'obtenir l'annulation du dit dépôt de sécurité (à notte retour de voyage, nous avons été obligés de demander à l'hôte d'annuler ce dépôt.

Perfect stay in a perfect appartement. séjour parfait dans un appartement parfait
Everything was perfect with the apartment. Firstly it was easy to find as Benoît sent us comprehensive and easy to follow instructions. We were also able to park outside. Once inside the building we realised that the security system was straightforward and easy to use, even for ‘oldies’ such as us.
Inside we were really impressed with the decor and space available to us. We have stayed in larger apartments that have felt more cramped. It was very clean the fittings were very modern and everything worked well. We thought the ‘Van Gogh’ apartment may be all yellow with lots of sunflower motifs about, but in fact the decor was very pleasant and the theme was very subtle.
We even liked the brochure that Benoît produced and found it very interesting and enjoyable. Sometimes you like the apartment, more than the town you stay in and sometimes visa versa, but we can honestly say we loved the apartment and Arles equally. We look forward to visiting them both again in the future.
Tout était parfait dans l'appartement. Tout d'abord, il était facile à trouver grâce aux instructions complètes et faciles à suivre de Benoît. Nous avons également pu nous garer à l'extérieur. Une fois à l'intérieur, nous avons constaté que le système de sécurité était simple et facile à utiliser, même pour les plus anciens comme nous.
À l'intérieur, nous avons été vraiment impressionnés par la décoration et l'espace dont nous disposions. Nous avons déjà séjourné dans des appartements plus grands, mais nous nous sommes sentis plus à l'étroit. L'appartement était très propre, les équipements très modernes et tout fonctionnait parfaitement. Nous pensions que l'appartement « Van Gogh » était tout jaune avec de nombreux motifs de tournesols, mais en réalité, la décoration était très agréable et le thème très subtil.
Nous avons même apprécié la brochure réalisée par Benoît et l'avons trouvée très intéressante et agréable.

Extrem gewchmackvoll und sorgfältig renoviertes Haus, man fühlte sich sofort wie zu Hause.

Wäre nicht gerade die Putzfrau dort gewesen, wäre das Finden vielleicht etwas komisch gewesen, da aussen nichts angeschrieben ist.

Le studio se trouve dans un quartier proche de la gare ...ce quartier est mal fréquenté et très sale je trouve le prix absolument incohérent avec l'environnement extérieur!
Insonorisation pas au top, lavabo salle de bain minuscule c'est un lave main, draps du lit hyper froissé, bouilloire avec calcaire !
Aucun contact avec le loueur si ce n'est 2 mails pour les codes et pour rappel de jeter les poubelles lors du départ

Bonne expérience pour visiter au plus proche
L entrée et le départ se font en toute autonomie avec des codes pour accéder aux portes. C’est très pratique! L’emplacement est également à 15min des arènes et grâce aux indications du gérant nous avons pu très facilement se garer.
Le seul inconvénient ce serait le fait que les fenêtres donnent accès à la route et donc on entend facilement les voitures/motos camion de poubelles

L’appartement était parfaitement propre, très bien équipé, sécurisé. Il était très agréable d’y être.
Il est à 5 minutes à pieds du centre ville. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.
