A large comfortable property suitable for a family group in a central location.

Location, comfort, well equipped and the ease of parking.

The kitchen area is difficult when cooking for a large group as the oven and grill do not work well. No instructions on how to leave the property at the end of the stay ie where to leave towels etc

Very enjoyable and relaxing with walks, bars and restaurants all at hand.

Excellent property in prime location in centre of Ambleside. Rooms were all of good size for such a large party as we were. Property was clean and well prepared for our visit. When in contact with owners they were very helpful to ensure our party's stay was an enjoyable experience.

Could have be an additional baby chair - but I understand this issue has now been addressed.

A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb 😋

The rooms are rather snug, which I didn't fully appreciate until I arrived. Not an issue as I was travelling alone but something to bear in mind. Rooms are probably a typical size for this age of building.

Property was beautiful, exceptionally clean. Host Susan, very welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble.

The toilet and shower being a separate room, on the same floor as other rooms (so if you did have a shower you could be coming out with a towel around you and meet someone). Put us off the shower facilities. If no other rooms on the same floor would have felt differently. Toilet/shower room very clean.

The breakfast was very well cooked and as varied as you could want. The room was well decorated and stocked, and had a lovely window seat with an openable window. The people who run the B&B were extremely friendly and answered any questions that we had about our stay and the local area, as well as going above and beyond and parking our car for us when we arrived after a long drive.

This place is a real find.

Hosts were very welcoming. Room was small, absolutely spotless with a perfect matching shower room. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice for all tastes. Food was nicely prepared and very fresh. Location right in the centre of town. This place was a great find.

Comfortable

Sarah was there to greet us at the door and show us around as soon as we arrived. She was warm and welcoming and we felt immediately comfortable. The room and view were lovely, and we enjoyed the row of local soaps in the bathroom! We were served speedily at breakfast and enjoyed the food very much. Thank you!

I love Ambleside, and really enjoyed my stay at the Easedale Lodge. Once Covid is out the way, I would like to return and enjoy it properly

Clean and friendly

We found our stay enjoyable, very clean and very friendly staff. The car park can be quite confusing you do need to go to the property first and park on double yellows to get your parking pass and instructions on where to go but once you have done that it’s all very straight forward. I recommend this establishment.

Just the set up to find the parking, it doesn’t make it very clear you must go to the property and park on double yellows etc. But i wouldn’t say I don’t like this it was just abit confusing.
