Cottage sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Schlafzimmer obere Etage zur Gartenseite. Trotz der Lage dicht an der viel befahrenen A 593 Nachtruhe gut, auch dank der bequemen Betten. Straßenseitig gelegenes Badezimmer sehr modern und funktionell. An die gefühlt durchs Badezimmer fahrenden Autos gewöhnt man sich. Vollständige Küchenausstattung. Parkplatz groß und nahe beim Eingang. Abseits des Trubels, guter Ausgangspunkt für (Auto-)Touren in den Lake District.
Sitzmöglichkeiten sind innen und außen leider unbequem, jedenfalls für hochgewachsene Gäste. Wohnzimmer: sehr niedriges Sofa und zwei Sesselchen, kein brauchbarer Tisch. Küche: zwei Holzbänke ohne Rückenlehne. Außen zwei metallene Bistrostühlchen. Man kann sich mit losen Kissen etwas Polsterung verschaffen. Wir waren zu zweit, für mehr Personen würde es eng.
