Guest House Ventisei Scalini A Trastevere

It was in the heart of town. Great restaurants and within walking distance of landmarks (if you consider 20ish mins walking distance which WE do. Didn’t really spend much time in the apartment but it was perfect for what we needed.

Only small downside was that our ‘double bed’ were two singles pushed together but it wasn’t a big deal. Was still comfortable to sleep in even though there was a bit of a dip.

I had a truly fantastic stay at this guest house! The location was incredible and made it very easy to get around Rome. The property was beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and full of authentic Italian charm, you can really feel the Italian vibes throughout the place. Communication with Lucia was excellent. She provided all the information we needed, and everything was well organized. I also appreciated the snacks, coffee, and tea available in the common room such a lovely touch! Overall, everything was wonderful. The guest house is close to many restaurants and makes it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

The only thing to keep in mind is that there are quite a lot of stairs, which can make carrying heavy luggage difficult. I recommend packing light if possible.

I’ve stayed in many hotels with varying room sizes, but this was by far the worst... Although I’m not usually claustrophobic, the space made me feel that way, and despite being two people, the bed was small and uncomfortable, clearly suited for one, so neither of us got any sleep that night.
