Casa Mia in Trastevere

The location was great and staff at front desk was nice, however staff at the restaurant were quite snobby towards us.

We got booked into their disability room which was on the first floor because all their other rooms were taken. This room was super weird because if you didn't close the curtains all the way, people eating right outside the room (courtyard of the restaurant) could see you changing. Also there was a very graphic photograph of a woman above our bed which we covered with a towel because it was inappropriate (also was themed for like New York or something super random haha). Only stayed one night here though before our nicer hotel booking, so it was okay. Also they told us the restaurant and hotel had quiet hours starting at 11pm, but it was super loud (even wearing ear plugs) until past midnight. Also, the breakfast was super weird and not very good. My husband and I barely ate because it didn't have much to offer, and the cooked food seemed a little weird (and trust me, my husband eats most things!).

Warm and friendly people and the restaurant is very good compared to others around.

I liked the location of the hotel and the room was clean and spacious. The host/manager was very responsive to my texts and my needs. She was very kind and friendly.

I didn't like how thin the walls were. The person next door could hear every noise and conversation, so I felt I needed to be very quiet. If you are looking for privacy, this isn't the right place. I wish the shower had a stand to hold my shampoo, conditioner and bar of soap.
