Excellent for a short-term stay!

The host was extremely kind and helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom very clean with a great shower. Breakfast was very good in a pleasant setting. The host was again very helpful, bringing hot bread rolls and croissants to the table and asking if we wanted some eggs. You won't go 'round hungry! A parking lot is nearby.

The area isn't that great and around 3am people were shouting at each other outside for quite some time. That woke up everyone in the building (we talked about it at breakfast). One of the guests told me he got up to shut them up. I don't know if this happens frequently in this area.

L’accueil et la gentillesse du propriétaire et la grandeur de la chambre . Le petit déjeuner était au top …👌 il y avait de tout sur la table…. Quel choix , merci pour les œufs 👌 et l’emplacement génial à 10 min à pieds de la gare des trains a 5 min du centre et 10 min de la plage 👌très franchement je recommande vivement. Et d’ailleurs je reviendrai . 😉

Goede locatie, privacy, geriefelijke en grote badkamer met diep bad

Veel trappen als je de bovenste kamer hebt - voor mij geen probleem maar voor sommige mensen vast wel. Geen ontbijt in de wintermaanden. Kan misschien nog net iets gezelliger met nog meer sfeerlicht en kussentjes of zo.

Parfait !

Juste parfait ! La chambre est superbe, la salle de bain immense avec qu'une grande douche et une très grande baignoire, tout fonctionnait très bien. J'étais seule à cette date, j'ai eu droit à une plus grande chambre que celle pour laquelle j'avais payé. A 3 minutes à pieds de la digue. Propre, lit très confortable et endroit calme, j'ai très bien dormi (ce qui est plutôt rare). Communication agréable, le monsieur qui m'a donné les clefs était très agréable et parlait très bien français. Thé, café et gel douche, shampoing etc sont fournis, et quelques autres boissons à bas prix sont présentes dans le frigo, c'est pratique. Il y a clairement un souci du detail, même les mouchoirs sont parfumés et il y avait un petit sapin de Noël dans la chambre 🙂 Excellent rapport qualité-prix, je reviendrai avec plaisir, merci!

De gastheer en gastvrouw die er alles aan doen om je verblijf aangenaam te laten verlopen (dank voor de flexibiliteit in verband met de baggage drop vooraf én later afhalen zodat we niet met onze baggage hoefden rond te zeulen!)

Niets negatief te melden. Mss een klein puntje: de handdoeken waren duidelijk wel gewassen en proper maar roken vermoedelijk door opslag een klein beetje muf, een lavendel zakje bij de opslag kan wonderen doen 🙂

Ce logement porte bien son nom Zen aan Zee. Chambre au calme à quelques centaines de mètres de la mer. Accueil chaleureux et hôtes très attentionnés. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses et confortables. Tout pour se sentir bien.

Leuk verblijf, zeer goede locatie. Ruime, propere kamer. We hadden een rustige kamer op het bovenste verdiep. De eigenaar droeg 1 koffer naar boven tijdens het inchecken. Ontbijt was zeer verzorgd en erg lekker. Het contact verliep zeer persoonlijk.

Prijs-kwaliteit uitstekend goede en persoonlijke service

Doordat het kleinschalig is, is er een persoonlijk contact met de uitbaters. Hielp ons met de bagage, in de kamer is aan alles gedacht ; een gevulde koelkast volgens het principe van de honesty bar met betaalbare prijzen,, vuilbakjes, koffie-en theefaciliteiten, goede verluchting van de kamer. Ontbijt was nog verrassend uitgebreid en wordt a la minute bereid met een eitje naar keuze, verse fruitsalade en een vers geperst sinaasappelsap. Wij hebben er een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad.

Bardzo miły właściciel, ekspres do kawy w pokoju, łazienka z prysznicem i wanną.

Drzwi od łazienki były zepsute, nie było możliwości ich zamknięcia. Czystość pozostawia trochę do życzenia. Pajęczyny w kontach są nie do zaakceptowania (o warstwie kurzu już nie wspominając). Ogólnie uważam że stosunek ceny do jakości jest nieopłacalny, ale to chyba zmora Oostende.

Ruime, rustige kamer op ideale ligging in Oostende , zeer proper en een heel lekker ontbijt !

De zeer ruime en uiterst propere kamer en badkamer. Frigo in kamer met drankjes aan zeer democratische prijzen. Er zijn slechts 3 kamers , eentje per verdiep en de isolatie tussen de verdiepingen is héél goed. Het ontbijt is copieus, er is o.a. vers geperst sinaasappelsap , eitje, croissant, yoghurt, vers fruit, …. De host en zijn echtgenote doen alles om het naar je zin te maken. De ligging was ideaal voor ons, dicht bij station, dicht bij strand, dicht bij centrum. Wij kregen op onze vertrekdag nog een sleutel om de bagage later te kunnen ophalen. Bij een volgend verblijf in Oostende weten we waar we zullen verblijven! Ten zeerste aan te raden.

Hier komen we zeker terug!

Zeer warme vriendelijke mensen die zorgen voor een leuk onthaal, goede uitleg over alles. We werden in de watten gelegd bij het ontbijt en geholpen met de bagage! We voelden ons echt op ons gemak!

Ze kunnen er zelf niets aan doen maar met het begin van de zomer was er snachts nog heel veel lawaai op straat en dat is goed te horen tot in de kamers. Paar keer wakker geworden.
