Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, but see below. Hotel good value, and well located in the centre of the town.

Good place in need of repair

Located in the heart of Oostende, this hotel is a has quite a bit of charm of the old days (art-deco dining room and many original details in the public spaces). Interiors of the rooms are a little bit more modern, albeit the age starts showing. The room was, however, clean and tidy. The owner/manager was very nice and offered an option to check in later than originally planned. She also offered guidance around the town, and was overall super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day rather well,

I would consider starting renovations as soon as possible, as the rooms are ageing and this translates into some things being broken or on the verge of being broken. WIFI didn't quite work.

Another great stay

Another great visit to Ostend and stay at the Louisa. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room facilities were great for our needs and budget. The room was spacious and bathroom large. The breakfast which was included with our package was a buffet with a plentiful choice and amount. The staff were again helpful, polite and happy. The location is great - just a short walk from the seafront and main square. This is our go to choice of hotel for our visits to Ostend and will remain so on the strength of this stay.

Nothing. Everything was great. The toilet is a little close to the wall, but nothing to spoil it.

The shower handle was broken, the shower shield as well. Made is very uncomfortable to take showers.
