Clean with tidy . Location was ideal for seeing the sites and train station. Easy check in and out .

The lack of a door into the bathroom. The curtain wasn’t even a thick one . You have to be very comfortable with your other half to stay in this room . Just don’t have anything too spicy !!

Good choice for a solo trip in Oostende

Easy to access. Clean room. Excellent communication with staff. Location close to food, shopping, museum and the beach. Would book again 👍

No fresh toiletries. Incase you have an early start/business hours, know that breakfast is served late, therefore best to purchase breakfast from a cafe/bakery in the neighbourhood.

The hotel place was in heart of city centre and near to beach, the breakfast was amazing check-in and check-out was easy using this self-chicken machine

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Oostende

Apartment is great, really well furnished and equipped. It's also really spacious so easily accommodated 3 of us. Breakfast was nice, plenty to choose from. Location is ideal, right in the centre of time with plenty of bars and restaurants. Owners really friendly.

Finding parking can be a challenge. No negatives about the hotel itself.

I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to say this.. My stay was really nice! The room was clean, with a mini fridge, the bed slept soooo good. The lady in the morning was friendly and helped me even tho I had lots of questions 😅 It's close to shops and the sea, I walked everywhere! Breakfast was also very tasty, fresh and plenty to eat. I felt safe and comfy there.

Easy contact with staff; also by WhatsApp, very fast response. Everything was very clean and great matrasses. Soundproof, we didn't hear a thing. Coffee/Tea maker in the room. We had an amazing holiday!

Efficient check-in by instructions received on my day of arrival. Very clean property. Breakfast was everything you needed. Very cozy place. Though they do not have 24/7 physical reception, they are very available on digital reception by Whatsapp. Who needs 24/7 physical reception anyway nowadays.

Great location with friendly staff.

Hotel Cardiff is a hidden gem in Ostend! It scores top marks across the board. The proprietor (Kay) went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed all Ostend has to offer. After drinks at the Tea Room and great restaurant recommendations, we retired to our modern, clean, and comfortable room for a great nights sleep. In the morning we were treated to a very nice breakfast to start the day. I will stay at Hotel Cardiff when I return to Ostend.
