Nice hotel near the promenade. A bit odd that staff is only there from 3 to 8 pm. Strange layout of the room with a large main room and tiny bathroom. Mirror was over the toilet! Bizarre. Light in bathroom was automatic, also strange, but I suppose saves electricity. Only one window, view onto inside air shaft. Bed was comfy and AC was strong.

First room we were given had bathroom molded, smell was awful and I got symptoms immediately. Kindly, we were given another room which was ok. Sofa bed was very noicy, everytime we moved while sleeping it woked us.

Good stay here. The property was nice. The walls could do with a repaint as was a lot of marks but to be expected when a lot of people stay here all the time. The sofa bed was comfy and easy to use and the kitchen was very small but adequate with what we needed it for. Would stay here again. Reasonable price.

the location was good. Near the beach and many restaurants near by. The room wasn't ready when we arrived after 15:00. we had to come back in an hour. They offered late check out to make up for it. The bed sheet from the sofa bed was so dirty that we had to put the towel instead. It seemed it was not replaced so we took the sheet out for cleaning. The parking is not available at the hotel so you have to park elsewhere. the sound proof was so bad that if some speak from the hall way, you can hear the entire conversation. If you expect quite environment, it is not recommended.

The hotel was very clean and had all the basic needs for our family of 4. The sofa bed was easy to pull out. I did wish that we had clean towels for the second day after our first night at the beach and I didn't bring shampoo since it is normally in the hotel, and there was but the tiny bottle wasn't enough for 4 of us in our stay. It was nearly perfect. The only thing I’d advise the hotel is to leave some cream and sugar for the guests to make it easy to make the first morning coffee. I arrived late and that would’ve come in handy my first day. Other than that, very nice, clean, quiet, everything new, very nice staff. Thank you Rudy and Kathy.

Great stay! We really have enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Luxury studio and a very nice entrance to the hotel. The location is perfect. It is 2 minutes from the beach and the center is around the corner. There were 2 disadvantages: under the bed we found kids' flip-flops and a dirty shirt that had not been cleaned up. Another small disadvantage was that the light was very sharp blue light and that it was linked to the kitchen light.

The New Astoria is 2 star so it is what it is. Very clean, very friendly staff and unlike some breakfast is included.. I always enjoy staying there because it is central to everything from seafront to shops.
