Beautiful house, well situated to explore the equally beautiful scenery and attractions such as Cragside and Northumberland zoo. Good sized room with great views and a huge TV! Our hosts Dave and Pauline were lovely, very welcoming and make very tasty eggy bread and scrambled eggs. Great pub within walking distance, food delicious.
Breakfast was a shared table which isn't our preference however it worked well during our stay. Unfortunately take away food isn't allowed in the rooms so we had to sit outside, the weather was lovely luckily. Am sure if we had asked we could have ate in the dining room. The curtains were quite light so maybe blackout liners would be an option.

Welcoming and friendly hosts. Relaxed. Good selection at breakfast in conservatory dining area. Pleasant, light bedroom and good shower in en-suite.
The farmhouse location we had imagined was actually tucked away at the back of the village and surrounded by half built houses. It was, however quiet and comfortable and although location disappointing in that respect, it was convenient for our trip requirements. Room not as clean as first appeared,
