My room was exceptionally clean. The walk to the palace was 10 minutes. The walk to the port was 10 minutes and the walk to the bus station train station is two minutes. Almost a perfect location.

The hosts were very kind and carried my suitcase up the stairs. They also took me to the nearby restaurants and showed me how to get back home. Very kind. Space in the room was large and offered everything I needed. It was quiet.
There was a sewage smell in the bathroom.

The family who look after the apartments are very nice and hospitable.
The apartments are in a rundown location with views of overflowing bins, parked cars and a train station. It is hard to pull your suitcase along as the path has uneven road and no allocated path. The room itself is very small, it is clean but very old. No toiletries in bathroom and hot water went very quickly so one of us couldn't have a shower in the morning which is a basic necessity. For 110 euro I expected more. We were only staying overnight in split so I wanted something close to bus station but it was not good.
