"Breakfast was great, we had cooked full English breakfast. Room wise it got a bit chilly and my wife suffers from the cold, My heating came on about 7.30 pm but did have a heater to switch on"

Family owned, friendly, professionally run. Cosy common rooms with armchairs, wood fire, tea making, Licensed to serve drinks. Bespoke cooked breakfast.
Bathroom was private but totally separated from bedroom, which was slightly inconvenient. Quite a busy road out front.

Clean, good breakfast, comfy bed
Location, no view of lake, no outdoor seating area apart from a bench, no staff, no evening meals available, had to make our own tea and coffee etc, that were downstairs, to bring up to room, smell in bathroom from drains, probably could do with checking, owners on site but felt uncomfortable having to msg or ask if we needed anything. Communal area was like sitting in front room with strangers. Bar closes at 10 and doors shut at 12.
