Easy check in, great (very clean) facilities and super comfy beds. Couldn't fault it. We couldn't make it up Snowdon thanks to 80mph winds, but still had a nice stay here and will be back.
You could hear people upstairs walking about, but it's an old house so that's inevitable. And as everyone's hiking, nobody will stay up too late anyway!

The location is fantastic as it's right in the middle of Llanberis High Street and right next to the local SPAR. The kitchen is big and well-equipped. All of the rooms including the toilets and bathroom are kept very clean. The price I paid overall was amazing, especially compared to other nearby accommodations in Llanberis. Finally, the accommodation as a whole has a nice cosy feel to it.
My room (room 9) was abysmally small and gave me claustrophobia. It felt more like a closet than a bedroom and the window was tiny and impossible to see out of. The window and front door rattled and made a lot of noise whenever there was wind outside. On top of that, even though I came here during the summer in June, it was still pretty cold at night given its location within Snowdonia. I contacted management about this who informed me that they wouldn't turn the heating on as it would cost them too much. I then requested a mini electric heater to which they said they'd leave outside of my room later, but they never came to drop if off outside of my room meaning for the entire duration of my stay there, I was freezing cold in my room at night.
Room 9 was supposedly one of the warmest rooms in the accommodation, at least that's what management told me, if only they knew how cold I was. Maybe if I'd have been given one of the other single bed rooms I'd have had a better experience. It wasn't just cold in my room either, it was cold around the entire accommodation, especially in the bathroom and toilets. Plus, since there isn't any kind of air con system, windows need to be left open inside of the toilets after use to air out the smell meaning that it got even colder in them. It's a shame as this was the first self-catered accommodation I've ever stayed at and I was genuinely looking forward to staying here. There were some good positives, but with the problems that I had, I most likely won't be coming back to stay here the next time I'm in Llanberis.
