The outdoors and the building itself are beautiful and well maintained. The owner was very friendly.

The value for money is not good as the hotel is quiet expensive (5 stars price) for what it is (3 to maximum 4 stars hotel standard). The receptionist was not very welcoming/friendly. Overall, the hotel seemed understaffed.

Exceptional hotel

On our arrival, we met with David the, manager and also owner, as this hotel is family owned. He, and all the staff are so friendly, helpful, and ever so kind. They go beyond helpful, nothing is ever to much trouble for them. I contacted the property before arrival, because i had concerns about our holiday, and also our daughters wedding was going to take place. We did not know how this was all going to pan out, with covid restrictions in place. But lucky for us, these restrictions were lifted before our arrival. My daughters wedding was not at this hotel. As we were not aware at the time of booking, the wedding 2 years ago that this hotel actually do weddings here. I emailed the property regarding, hair, and beauty appointments that i needed to have for the wedding. They made all my appointments., prior to my stay, and everything was wonderful. Also they arranged for us to have our covid test before we were due to fly home. Any concerns we had, over our stay were dealt with. Also i have to mention Greta, she works at reception. Think this is a family member also. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her. Thank you for your help. Just to add, you are 10 minutes drive from a lovely town, with lots of bars, and restaurants. Also dining services are exceptional.

A hidden Gem in Tuscany Wine Country

This place is truly a hidden gem!!! Absolutely beautiful in every respect! Buildings, garden, features, furnishing - everything in perfect and beautiful detail! Definitely a place to come back! The staff is exceptionally friendly ... and the cat was a very welcome companion at breakfast :-) And the restaurant: everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. One of the very few places you will remember even after years :-)

Semplicemente perfetto

Colazione ottima e con prodotti freschissimi, abbiamo inoltre consumato 2 cene a "la carte" semplicemente deliziose e sfiziose il ristorante La corte dei Papi non ha nulla da invidiare al ristorante stellato Il falconiere. Ci torneremo il prossimo anno.

Fantastische locatie met zeer vriendelijke personeel en uitstekend restaurant

Prachtige locatie niet ver van cortona. We kregen meteen een upgrade naar een kamer met spa. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en deed alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het restaurant is uitstekend.

De dag van onze aankomst was de locatie tot 15 uur afgehuurd voor een bruiloft. Inchecken kon ook pas vanaf 15 uur maar we waren wat vroeger en dachten dat het mogelijk was om tot die tijd aan het zwembad te liggen maar dat was niet mogelijk. Misschien hadden ze dit vooraf even kunnen laten weten dan waren we iets langer op onze voorgaande bestemming gebleven.

L'emplacement et le beau le cadre. Belle piscine meme si on ne peut pas y faire de longueurs.

La vétusté de la chambre (prises électriques usées, une seule lampe de chevet pour un lit double, séchoir à cheveux de mauvaise qualité). Les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur de 5 étoiles. Photo trompeuse de la piscine.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti alla Corte dei Papi approfittando di un’ottima offerta, quindi il prezzo per un 5 stelle è stato molto conveniente. La struttura è bellissima, curata, con un’atmosfera elegante e un grandissimo potenziale. Al nostro arrivo ci è stato fatto un gradito upgrade in un cottage, molto comodo visto che viaggiavamo con il nostro cagnolino. Personale attento e disponibile all’ascolto.

Alcuni piccoli dettagli da migliorare, ad esempio l’assenza della ciotola dell’acqua in camera per il nostro cane, nonostante il supplemento richiesto. Quando l’ho fatto notare al direttore, si è scusato e ha applicato uno sconto del 50% sul costo del soggiorno del cane, gesto che ho molto apprezzato.

Non vale i soldi che ti fanno spendere.

La posizione è ottima, essendo solo a 7 minuti di macchina dal centro di Cortona. Lo staff che ci ha accolto era composto da due ragazze, entrambe molto gentili e accoglienti. Super disponibile la ragazza che ci ha accompagnato alla nostra camera. Abbiamo soggiornato nella Suite Luxury Spa nel mese di marzo.

Non vale i soldi che spendi. Le lenzuola sono di plastica e il letto è stato rifatto così male per ben due volte che al primo movimento si è disfatto, costringendo me e il mio compagno a rifare tutto da capo, anche se inutilmente, visto che erano proprio errate secondo noi le dimensioni della biancheria. Il bagno turco ok ma ho pagato più di cinquecento euro soprattutto per la vasca idromassaggio in camera, che non è stato possibile utilizzare (abbiamo provato per ben due volte, con nel mezzo anche una pulizia della camera) in quanto dai rubinetti e poi dai getti è uscito di tutto. La colazione poi è stata imbarazzante. Servita dalle 8 alle 10, ci siamo presentati alle 9.15, visto il check out alle ore 11. Era praticamente tutto finito e non è stato riportato niente. La scelta limitatissima. Ho visto che già in altre recensioni negative in cui mi sono rivista sono state portate motivazioni come lo sporco o l'usura dei clienti precedenti. Bene, non credo sia questo il caso e comunque nella gestione di un albergo che chiede più di cinquecento euro a notte è inaccettabile. Mi sarei aspettata un trattamento così pagando massimo un centinaio di euro. Molto molto delusa, non ci tornerò più e assolutamente non consiglio a chi vuole farsi un fine settimana di relax.
