A warm, cozy stay with genuine home vibes and truly caring hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The women at the reception were really warm and attentive, creating such lovely home vibes from the start. Our room exceeded expectations—cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest detail. Although we only stayed one night, we met longer-term guests who were just as happy, so it clearly suits all types of stays. The complimentary treats were a lovely surprise, and Eveline was absolutely amazing—we’re very grateful for her kindness. You can genuinely feel the care behind this hotel. We would gladly return.

Great hotel in Liege

Great room, with a rustic taste, provided of all the amenities that one wants when travelling. Great staff, always ready to help and provide you with indication or recommendation on the city. Pretty good breakfast.

Desk for work or just use a laptop was minimal, not very spacious. Occasionally, the WiFi would drop and leave you with slow or zero data (it didn't happen that often, occasionally)

Would absolutely recommend

Visited with my dad during the 2025 F1 Spa Gp, if anyone is doing the same thing Liege is a good spot for a base of operations for the weekend. I would really recommend this hotel to everyone! The hotel is on the smaller side and privately ran, which means that the people there take extraordinarily good care of their guests. The service feels personal and you can really sense that they are invested in you having a good stay there. Our room was in good condition. Clean, with all the usual amenities you'd expect in a hotel. Breakfast is worth the money and I would recommend it, if you wish to buy it is advisable to tell the hotel beforehand so they'll have everything there just for you! As I eluded to earlier the staff was awesome! Very friendly and helpful/knowledgeable about the local area. Just pleasant people overall. In addition to this they handed out water and little snacks to us just as an added bonus. The number one staff member however is the adorable west highland terrier (I think) that demands a scratch tax each time you return to the hotel :-).

The upper floors are not that accessible if you have difficulties with stairs, but I guess that's pretty much most older buildings. There however is a luggage elevator!

One night stay

I had requested an early checkout and was ok without breakfast. Nevertheless Evelyne was so kind to have arranged some small breakfast for me to take to my room at my arrival and I had to take at least something. She was really helpful and willing to help where possible.

The hotel owner spoiled our trip to Liege.

The location of the hotel.

The room was at the top of 3 flights of stairs. The owner was having a bad day and decided to take it out on her guests. I have never been spoken to like that from any hotel owner previously. I presume this was a one off occasion as otherwise the hotel would have closed years ago!

Quiet, cosy location. Front of house lady was very nice and kind. Knowing that my french isnt that good, she was patient in explaining and answering my questions. Also nice breakfast.

A pleasant, welcoming place to stay in a convenient location.

Helpful staff. Parking okay in the area. Can walk to most places. Could see the barges on the river st the end if a short street, from our room. I liked the old style grandeur if the room.

The shower curtain needs to fully enclose the bath.

Clean and large room. Excellent host. She offered to wash my clothes. This was after walking all day, and from the train station.. My socks really smelled bad. All these stereotypes about the French liking smelly clothes is not true. She washed my clothes. A little bit of walk from the train, 15 minutes but near the cafes and laundromat if necessary. This is an excellent alternative to Maastricht. This is where most of my work was done. Liege train station is a beautiful place Christopher

The bathtub is a little bit awkward. It needs more hand holds. Old people need more support.

Superb

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even gave us recommendation about a festival during our visit. The room has been thoroughly cleaned while we were out. The hotel is located close to the train station next to a big shopping mall, but it was still quiet at night.

Familiar hotel, quite closed to the city center and the room is quite big (especially the bathroom)

Facilities were not great: not a lot of parking places close by and materials used in the whole building are old and cheap.

If I need to go to Liège again I would like to stay here again.

The room was very comfortable and provided a clean, safe place to stay whilst in Liège. The owner is very friendly, and was able and willing to help with anything. She was also patient even though I don't speak French or German very well. Thank you! There is also a very nice dog :-)

Close to every important highlight and great value for money !

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is close to all important highlights of the city: The Calatrava train station, the historic city centre and the weekly antique market which is every friday morning from 08:00 until 13.00. Very clean and comfortable room. Very good value for money, I would use this hotel again.

Excellent hosts, willing to help and advice whenever we needed it! Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent, walking distance to center. Room was very quiet, excellent coffee and breakfast.

Unfortunately our one night stay turned into two nights because my mornimg shower in the bathtub. I slipped and was carried to the local hospitalby an ambulace . In this accident I highly appreciate our hosts help and assistance. So: please take care in batjtubs!
