Great hotel, well connected, excellent staff - but a disappointing gym.

A nice hotel, with very good rooms and close to the station. The main reception/lobby/seating area was colourful and vibrant - the staff were also very friendly. Unfortunately, my heating wasn’t working, but the staff provided some solutions. Although not close to the centre, the tram is frequent and nearby. Overall, a very nice hotel with a spacious room and balcony.

The "gym" needs a re-think. 2 or 3 more basic pieces of equipment and perhaps one less cardio machine.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Liège. Normally, hotels in Belgium are a bit less in quality, but this one was surprisingly good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which immediately made us feel welcome. The parking garage directly underneath the hotel was very convenient. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, with plenty of space to relax. Everything was well organized and taken care of. We were very satisfied with our stay, and the next time we visit Belgium, we will definitely consider staying at this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Stylish, clean open and vibrant place - recommend

Great location, clean, friendly staff. Relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.

We discovered the Pepin restaurant during the early evening. A reservation was not possible due to staffing/ kitchen size. Nice to have option for bookings esp. for a short 1 night stay. But a really lovely atmosphere and we stayed for some light drinks before heading out for dinner.

Great value for money.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and within walking distance of the centre. There’s also a tram stop right in front, which is very convenient. My room was comfortable, and the shower was really good.

The mattress was a little softer than I usually prefer.

A very clean and spacious place compared to any other hostel.

I needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for one night. Despite I'm not a big fan of hostels and mixed dormitory bunk beds but I liked the idea that it had curtains to have privacy. Also the late check-in because of the plane delay was so nice of them. Also the room was very spacious compared to any other hostel room.

The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't like was the locker for the Luggage, I'm not sure if it could be locked or not, maybe there is a way to lock it but I didn't know how to use it, and since I arrived late I didn't have time to ask the desk.

Pricey but great location for those coming by train.

Ultra convenient for the station and tram line. Long way from the old town but with the new tram, dead easy. Loved the door opening onto the view.

We were a bit unlucky that our visit coincided with a cycle ride and a lot of the participants were staying which meant breakfast was disappearing very quickly and the young hard working lady was struggling to cope. Instructions how to use the public transport would be helpful. Too much arty farty unnecessary things in the room. Very pricey for our one night stay.

Unfortunately, this hostel is no longer what it used to be. As was the toilet inside the room was blocked and the staff have refused to fixed,and to change my room,!!!!so I stayed 3 another days with that awful smells,like I lived in swamp 🤕 were clothes on the floor for last client, new staff has racism unfortunately

Beds are like alcoves, I slept like a baby despite the fact we were 8 in the dormitory. Staff is nice and friendly, instructions are clear and the hotel looks very nice.

The cleanliness of the toilet was not great, but I assume someone had just been before and not been super mindful about other people. The water of the shower was warm, but not hot.

Disapointing

Good location, in front of the station. A bit far from downtown, but easily accessed by an energetic walker. Reception is impressive with lots of space, sofas, tables, common areas, plus free coffee.

Professional staff, but I didn´t feel quite welcome maybe because it was crowded. I felt disapponted with the room. Although the bed was comfortable enough, the space was tiny for eight people. Only one bathroom allowed for the same 8 people was a bit disorienting too, but it was kept clean enough and the shower was good. Ok, I paid a decent price but I didn´t feel treated as a real guest. That was my personal impression maybe because I overexpected the place. I only recommend it if you are not too demanding.

Top tier dorm

So close to Guillemins station, and just 8 mins from le Boverie museum. Impressive construction. Very modern. I stayed in a dorm but YUST is more of a hotel and common space for business meetings. There is even a humble fitness centre with cardio machines, yoga mats and dumbbells.

Room smelled musty. Wanted to open window but others in room wanted it closed. Shared Bathroom in room likely to blame. For the price, and for one night, easy to deal with, but would have bothered me if i had stayed longer. Also about 25 mins from old city center by foot, so factor that in to your schedule.

A new modern concept just next to the Guillemins station

Very sturdy beds, appreciate they don’t make squeaky noise. Clean environment, spacious lobby area to lounge, high security features. Big storage space is provided to everyone. And attentive staff members handled all matters very well!

Toilette and shower in the same (lockable) room isn’t practical for 8 people to share. There are guests who were staying for many weeks, practically living there in filth - the property should impose max stay periods. There are old African men who come to the lounge area every day using it as a free café.

there is massive street construction work going on so a bit tricky to find an entrance (its of course not their fault but some note with confirmation message could be added) and in general Liege is under massive construction now, so better delay your stay if possible :)

VERY GOOD

Hotel.com didn't accept BANKCONTACT, so I had to switch to Booking .com, and instead of two nights i booked for only one night without noticing it.. Luckily the reception solved my problem in a very correct way The bed is very comfortable, but if you sleep next to the wall and you have to get up 2 or 3 times in the night, it's like you are crossing the deck of a ship in a deep storm to get down to the toilet. I'm not an acrobat at 77yrs!! And automatically your partner wakes up and is not happy.
