Beautiful small hotel in prime position within old town Bruges

Very relaxed vibe and a beautiful old building within short walk to Markt Square, the river etc. The fire and honesty bar made for a lovely, relaxed evening and the view of the cathedral was spectacular.

An extra pillow would have been nice.

Great location and good value for money

The downstairs lounge area was warm and comfortable, a great place to end the day. Our room was comfortable and the kitchenette was invaluable during our stay. The stairs creak and there may be a bit of paint missing here and there, but we would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The staff were incredibly helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Bruges and had a bus stop from the train station 70m from the front door.

Just perfect

A perfect stay, especially considering you are living in a 16th-17th century house. The owners are incredibly welcoming and available to help at any moment. The highlight of it all is the living room with the fireplace, right across from the Bruges Cathedral.

Great value for money, an excellent stay.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quirky and homely. We particularly loved the lounge area with comfy seating, lovely fire and free tea and coffee. There was also a great selection of drinks with an honesty box. It was a real home from home and we loved it. The breakfast was great and good value for money. The location was excellent for the shops and Christmas Markets. We’d definitely go back there.

Good price but some pitfalls

Location and price during high Christmas market season. Fortunately even though our room had a bed on a mezzanine they had also placed a bed at the bottom of the stairs too so we did not use the bed up the stairs

Room was very small and the stairway to the rooms is very steep. Reception unmanned although contactable by phone.

A wonderful place to stay in Brugge

The room and the view were excellent ( 2 cathedrals). Everything is within walking distance. A flat 10-15 minute walk from the station. Easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cynthia was great ( one of the ownets). Free tea and coffee. We were able to put our bags in a locker after check out, and use the facilities--which was a great help. Highly recommended.

Prime location in Bruges to take in all the sights

The central location with private parking right in the middle of Bruges was fantastic as was the lovely and very comfortable ground floor lounge area with excellent coffee that made ducking in and out during the day of sightseeing a welcome haven. Out host, Olivier was also very warm snd welcoming during our stay. Would recommend this place!

do not stay here if you have a car!

bed and the location and a mini fridge and the lady who works there is nice

if you have a car do not stay in these downtown hotels as is annoying to deal with their parking. shower water didnt get too hot. Internet was really bad on the 2nd floor. no streaming availability.

Great location friendly staff amazing facilities and charming authentic bedrooms

You feel very welcome, every detail is agréable especially the common room where you have the "honesty bar " with fresh delicious local beer or wine! We enjoyed breakfast on our terrace with view. Everything was agréable and safe ! Plus parking next door that you pay 15 euros and can stay until 3pm the next day, perfect as Bruges is difficult for parking!

Little leak on the shower heaf needs a fix 😉

Great stay

We had a really warm welcome, check in was easy and the staff were really helpful. The room was stunning, fantastic views out over the city, and a very short walk to the historical centre. There was a welcoming lounge to enjoy, and great coffee available anytime. We were able to park our car in the garage.

Clean, convenient, comfortable and characterful

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Bruges. Don't believe the other reviews about noise at night - I wasn't woken at all. My room was very clean, comfortable and characterful, and the staff were really nice. There's a special set of lockable cupboards in reception to leave luggage - I left mine after I checked out so I didn't have to carry it round all day; I was given a code to the front door to let myself back in in the late afternoon so I could get my luggage and then catch my train; hugely appreciated. Very sweet lounge downstairs. Thank you for a great stay, I would definitely stay again.

The Host, Olivier, could not have been more helpful, friendly, accommodating, and generous.

I had two single beds moved together, and while they were comfortable individually, this was a small problem as they sometimes found their way apart.

Lovely clean place to stay. Great location in the historical part of Bruges. Nice to have drinks available to buy and good free coffee to drink. Found Google Maps worked fine for finding the place. Maybe an improvement has been made? I used the plates and knife, fork and spoon I was given at the beginning through out my stay. I couldn’t see any others, but I never asked via the telephone as didn’t seem important. The owners manage another motel and were mostly not there. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Nice spot for a short stay

The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A nice touch was the microwave available in the bar area—super convenient, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

The only downside was that the soundproofing could be better. We could hear people walking and talking in the corridor outside our room, which was a bit disruptive at times. And people could definitely hear my kids running amok in the room. But aside from that, everything else was great!

There were old and broken bedside tables, there were electric outlets that were left (dangerous for children), also broken electric switches, there were some very dirty walls (like in the bathroom) and in general terms the room was like abandoned...
