10-15 minutes walk to centre of Lyme Regis so no need to take car(unless hill is a problem)
Private and quiet
Steep driveway down from road where parking is to property not mentioned in property details. Luckily, although in my mid seventies, it was fine for me.

Everything about our stay in the Morlais log cabin was perfect. We had all the facilities we needed for our stay. The host was very friendly, and the bed was so comfy we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Would defiantly like to return.
Nothing.

Perfect quiet location four minutes drive to the seafront

Cabin was very clean, lovely to have basics provided, like milk, bread , butter, and cereals.
Good to have a microwave and toaster too.
Shower was very good.
Very quiet and peaceful area. Hosts are friendly and approachable.
Definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchair users. Although there is parking space on the road the house driveway is very steep.
Lovely walk down to the town, but very steep walking back.

Bread, milk, butter and cereals were provided. We did not need to purchase any extra supplies. There were also plentiful sachets of teas and coffees. The hosts were happy to take dishes away for washing as there was no sink other than the bathroom sink. There was a good supply of cutlery and plates/bowls...
For most of the stay the TV only worked intermittently. The host was sympathetic and put it down to "atmospherics" over which he had no control.

lovely and comfortable was a very nice place to stay and the owner provided a hamper with bread and jam and fresh milk in fridge, we will stay again next time we visit dorset. Owners friendly and we could come and go as we pleased.

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable bed, nice hot shower, peace and quiet with an amazing view. The most stunning 20 minute walk to the beach through the middle of the town.
Absolutely not a bad thing - do be aware the entire area is on a cliff, so take your time walking back as it is up the hill. The walk back is also stunning if you follow the river.

Very quiet area, private not far from centre
The only thing was the walk back uphill but I knew about that before I booked the accommodation.

Cabin was nice, clean and comfortable
Location was near to the Town
We did not realise it was a cabin built in someone's back garden and it felt a bit weird being the back garden

Very comfortable, clean cabin. Well stocked with crockery and utensils. Useful microwave, fridge , kettle and toaster. Welcome hospitality basket provided on arrival.
Located in peaceful garden setting. Parking on road at the top of the drive .
Only slight drawback was no sink to wash pots, but hosts very happy to wash crockery for us and then return it.

Great walk down to the centre of Lyme Regis, but a little challenge to walk back up

The breakfast options were nice to have, bedding was comfortable and the place was very clean. Bathroom is small but was fine for us. Owners were very nice and seemed eager to accomodate us. The TV was nice for the evenings. For being in the owner's garden we felt we had enough privacy.

DIY continental breakfast - coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter and cereals. A fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, a small table and TV were also available and welcome. Large comfortable bed - good sleep. Quiet environment. A two-seat settee proved relaxing. Green outlook onto a private garden.
1) The faulty electric shower thermostat needs fixing. It cycled from scalding, to a briefly usable temperature, into cold, then back again. With only circa 5 seconds bearable temperature flow in every 30 seconds, it was effectively unusable.
2) TV had many channels, but no BBC.

Spotless, comfortable, well equipped, spacious, private.
Nothing, perhaps s little further into town than I was expecting, but in reality it was not far at all.

Lively spacious and warm. Milk and cereal were a lovely touch. Great shower and comfy bed.
The only thing I’d say is reading in bed was tricky with the lights.

Really cute little place to stay, really liked how we could just check in ourselves! The little cabin was so clean and we even had a little hamper of breakfast goodies! 🥹 Location is brilliant,.about a 15 minute walk into the town! Would just say, be careful of the steep hills lol!
Me and my wife really enjoyed our little night away, was very relaxing and cosy!

Very clean, comfortable, great views and peaceful. Some breakfast items were left only sad we had plans for breakfast so couldn’t enjoy them.

All was great

Wasn’t expecting breakfast but lovely to find milk and butter in the fridge and bread and cereals provided.
Easy to get to by public transport as bus to Axminster station stopped nearby. But very steep hills - luckily I’m fit but could be tricky for others. Lovely view over Lyme from cabin.
Unfortunately signal was down for TV because of storm so couldn’t get normal channels and had to battle with iPlayer etc and couldn’t get subtitles . Only a microwave for cooking but probably wouldn’t be safe to have anything else in a wooden hut !

Completely charming little cabin. Our hosts even left cereals, milk, bread, butter and coffee. We were totally relaxed.
Nothing we didn’t like! It is at the top of a hill though, so be prepared for a calf workout. Best to take what you need with you to the beach to avoid extra trips back.

Bed was the comfiest we've ever slept it! Cabin was warm & cosy and had everything we needed. Was also very private considering it's in a garden, and soooo peaceful. Hosts were wonderful and friendly. Only a short (but hilly) walk to town but absolutely fine for us. We will be back!
There was nothing we didn't like!

The property was very quiet and peaceful. Milk and a breakfast hamper provided. A lovely little log cabin with everything needed for a weekend break.
Parking is available on the road but no off road parking. The property is very high up so you need to be fit to walk back from town as it is all uphill.

the cabin was clean and very quiet, nice breakfast hamper waiting us on arrival, easy parking on the street which was very helpful. The local pub the Nags head was very friendly and the locals made you feel very welcome
The walk back from the town was uphill all the way, but it didn’t distract us from where we were staying

Clean, comfortable and the hosts were great.
Close to the coast and Andy was very knowledgeable about the area.
Highly recommend and I would stay again.
It’s a personal choice and not a reflection on the property or hosts - I just prefer a cooked breakfast.

Feels very alpine inside with all the bare wood. Beautiful decor and even though it’s winter, the cabin stays nice and warm with the heat on. Lovely view from the door and windows. Apart from a stove there is everything in here you need. Bread for toast, butter, jam, and even milk for hot drinks.
Nothing. I think it’s perfect.
