Lyme View Apartment

Spacious, airy, tastefully decorated. Location meant easy to walk to the centre of Lyme Regis and to drive out of it. Such a help having an allocated parking space and the kitchen well equipped.

Three things - Window Blind in the twin bedroom broken (and had been for a while we think).We managed to rig up something but there would have been no privacy and it was too bright to sleep in the room without that. Did report it to the property contact but she didn’t respond. Cooker extractor didn’t work at all - in a property designed for self catering with a locked window in the kitchen this wasn’t good enough. Shower area in main bathroom needed upgrading - everything worked but water condensation damage was evident - let down the decor. Suggestion - repair/replace the above. The accommodation isn’t budget and these elements seemed unacceptable for the price of the rental. Final suggestion - include 2 or 3 dishwasher tablets as part of the “Welcome” supplies. It’s family self catering accommodation, dishwasher tabs a practical and thoughtful addition.

Great location and nice parking. Loved the front garden.

We liked everything. My only suggestion was that the French doors were difficult to lock.

Beautiful flat, very modern and well equipped. Very comfortable bed and the place felt like we were in a beach villa. Very spacious.
