Villa Agni is one of the original houses of Kavalaraina, which dates back to the 1920's. The villa was restored in the 1990's and was the first to do so in the area, keeping its original features wherever possible. The thick stone walls at lower levels will keep you cool even in the hottest days of the summer. The three levels of original landscape make Villa Agni a hidden treasure that promises peace and tranquility. The bay of Agni is 400m walk, so the house not only enjoys uninterrupted seaviews, it is also within walking distance to one of the most exclusive bays of Corfu. Villa Agni is ideal for those wishing to experience traditional village life while remaining within walking distance to the sea. Please note that Villa Agni is not suited to the less mobile.

Lovely villa. Pool area was great, nice pool.
Villa is in need of full air conditioning, as what was provided was very inadequate.
Also parking was a problem, had to park away from the house, and there was not always space etc.
Nice housekeeper. However, was instructed to use toilet bins, but no person came to empty them or do any maid service at all.
Unfortunately, television could not get any channels either.
Apart from these minor inconveniences, we had a great time and loved the upstairs area veranda with great view.

Das Ferienhaus ist toll. In großen Teilen so, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die Kommunikation mit Max war immer unproblematisch genauso wie das ein- und auschecken.
Was man fairerweise noch erwähnen sollte ist der Zuweg zum Haus. Wie in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben ist dieser tatsächlich über einige Treppen uns Stufen zu bewältigen. Wer allerdings "normal" zu Fuß ist und nicht auf Gehhilfen oder andere Hilfsmittel angewiesen ist, sollte diesen Weg schaffen.
Alles in allem waren es zwei super schöne und erholsame Wochen in der Villa Agni und wir haben nur schweren Herzens unsere Koffer gepackt.

Villa Agni is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. The house is in a traditional Greek village with beautiful views over Agni bay from the swimming pool and patio areas. The interior of the house is homely and well cared for with a lovely atmosphere, everything you need is provided. The walk down to Agni bay takes about ten minutes but longer coming up as steep in parts! A car is really useful to explore this area of Corfu which is very scenic with lots of lovely bays and places to eat.We would thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely house.
