Barbati Bay Elegant Beach Apartments by Hotelius

It was very central, so close to the beach and local restaurants and the bed was very comfy and the apartment was extremely clean.

Nothing although I think it should be specified that it is on my a partial sea view as there is only a small gap in between the buildings in front of the apartments and that you have to pay for the sun loungers at the pool, they are not included which should be stated, but we didn’t mind paying.

Relaxing, clean location and almost on the beach. Not sandy beach, pabble but clean sea. Also 2-3 walking distance to 2 sunbeds with umbrellas and nice restaurant. Water sports etc also there. Recommend for relaxation holiday in this location.

Usual in Corfu but very narrow and steep road to get into the site. Again very narrow entry to the apartment parking. Good that i had 208. Tiguan or Octavia etc almost impossible to manage. I also recommend to buy basic food needs from Lidl or bigger markets rather than getting from local markets in the area as they are quite expensive. Basic fruits start from 5-6 EUR per kg. Even tomatoes 3-4 EUR per kg. etc. Pastry shops for breakfast are nice and not expensive.

The shower was tiny, but overall good.

Location nice beach but no other walk accessible unless you had a car. Prefer sandy beach

Apartment didn’t resemble photos on site. Very shabby and located right next to electricity pylon which emitted an irritating white noise. The shower was a nightmare, the water came out of shower head and bottom tap at same time and couldn’t be adjusted as it’s broken. The shower tray is tiny and the curtain doesn’t come all the way down to tray so bathroom gets flooded when showering. The entire apartment needs renovating if it’s priced like this. The curtains in the bedroom are filthy When I enquired at the Taverna by the pool what time the pool would open as it was past 10am and advertised as opening at 9.30pm I received an aggressive answer from the waiter and thereafter was treated rudely by the staff so we never spent any money there as they were overtly unfriendly. On a positive note Eftychia who was the booking rep was as helpful and polite as possible. Barbati is very expensive, the two supermarkets are super expensive and a total rip off. Unfortunately will not be returning
