The breakfast was nicely cooked and hot.
The room was advertised as super deluxe, A slightly bigger bed would have been preferred.

Cosy little cottage with everything we needed. Good shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was good with a good choice. Hosts friendly and offer good local advice. You can walk to Coniston along the lakeside but it is a decent walk. We found the footpaths directly into Coniston a more pleasant walk as it avoided lots of tarmac and the camping site.
We had a shared car park with the neighbouring cottage and it was very tight as the other car was very big. We couldn’t get our car out without asking the neighbours to move their car first. The lay-by nearby was also full most of the time.

We stayed in Gardeners Cottage and it is absolutely perfect! Very cosy, quiet and clean. The location is amazing too - there’s a path right next to the property that brings you right into the hills. Very nice breakfast and friendly hosts :)
