Had a wonderful two night stay in the yewdale inn! Food was lovely, room was comfortable and clean and staff were friendly!
The only thing I would say is that the WiFi connection was not very good in our room but it was fine as we just connected to our mobile data.

The staff at breakfast in particular were very friendly and the food was good. The hotel is very central to Coniston so a good location for walks and good pubs (the black bull across the road!!)
We stayed in room 2, the shower basically didn't work.. The room was also very noisy, just above the bar, lots of outside noise and noise from other rooms particularly water running through the night which kept setting the dog off. The room was also very hot (and it wasn't even a hot day!) they provided a fan but it didn't really do anything.
