Davvero un piccolo angolo di paradiso a Kyoto. La casa è incantevole ed ha un carattere eccezionale, perfetta per chi cerca un alloggio con comodità moderne e fascino tradizionale. Comodissima per raggiungere a piedi in 15-20 minuti moltissimi punti di interesse. Menzione d’onore per la sala da bagno con vasca in legno affacciata sul piccolo giardino, è il momento di relax perfetto a fine giornata.
Nulla. Siamo stati sfortunati perché di fronte alla casa c’è un cantiere dove la mattina iniziano a lavorare molto presto, comunque nulla su cui i proprietari della struttura possano intervenire.

Very very aesthetically pleasing. It's cozy and tasteful. The garden is lovely. Quiet neighborhood with a bus station within a 3 minute walk.

Posto strepitoso, magico ed autentico, in una zona strategicamente perfetta! Curato nei dettagli l’esperienza nel machiya è da fare se ci si vuole immergere nell’atmosfera di Kyoto. Servizio impeccabile asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno, Acqua a disposizione, pulizia giornaliera!
Unica piccola pecca, siamo stati in estate e le pareti come le finestre non sono termoisolanti e molto sottili, pertanto bisogna tenere costantemente l’aria condizionata anche di notte. Ma hanno pensato anche a questo ed i condizionatori delle camere da letto hanno un’asta di legno mobile per evitare il flusso diretto dell’aria sui letti.
