We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We could wash and dry our clothes in the laundry area with a few coins. The staff were also friendly and very helpful, organising a luggage forwarding service to the next hotel for us

The staff were all excellent. It was close to the station to Gion and a nice walk over the bridge to Nakajimacho so felt like everything you needed was walkable. Supermarket was 5 minutes and a beautiful temple at the end of the streets. We were a short walk and bus from Higashiyama which was rich in history and so beautiful. Gion felt like it was at our doorstep and we loved a night stroll. Also walked to Luna spa for much needed full body massage. We picked up some cooked utensils from reception to make some breakfast and used the washer and dryers. 400¥ $4NZD to wash and 200¥ $2NZD to dry. We had small wash line to use hangers on the deck area to dry delicates too. Staff forwarded our luggage from reception to our next destination. We are a family of 5 kids are 15, 6 and 5 and we all fit comfortably in the bunk rooms. Didn't hear any noise from any other rooms. We were on the 4th floor.
As we found in our travels beds are firm everywhere. but still we're able to sleep.

Easy to find. Clean rooms and good service
Beds were too hard. All 5 of us woke up with pain in the morning. Mattresses are too thin
