First off the host, Muriel, is a star! She's been running her bed and breakfast for 45 years and it shows. She and her husband, David, are the nicest, giving, caring, generous people you'd ever want to meet. Everyone is welcome and treated like family. They're full of advice about local activities and helpful suggestions about how to get where you need to go. Muriel offers a hot, made to order breakfast every morning. She provides cold breakfast options as well, should you want both. The home and bedrooms are immaculate. The beds and the bedding were extremely comfortable. There's a kettle with coffee and tea provided in every room. You'll find a comfortable sitting lounge for guests next to the breakfast room. Staying with Muriel was one of the highlights in Callander and we highly recommend you stay at the Southfork Villa Guesthouse.

A very friendly welcome and the room and facilities were all explained. A nice breakfast with plenty of options. An ideal location right in the centre of town. Comfy beds.
Toilet seat needs replaced. Shower could have been a bit more powerful.
